Research On Traffic Situation In Terminal Control Area

This paper analyzed and studied the traffic situation in terminal control area.Firstly,summarized the research status of air traffic situation,taking terminal area as the object,aircraft actual operation trajectory data as the basis,traffic flow as the starting point,deeply studied the characteristics and attributes of traffic flow,and then extended to the whole terminal control area,analyzed the influencing factors of traffic situation in terminal control area,described and evaluated the traffic situation,and analyzed the evolution of traffic situation.The main contents including:1.After defined the concept of terminal area traffic situation and analyzed its components,starting with traffic flow,used K-means clustering algorithm to identify traffic flow and extracted the corresponding reference track.Then,took a single traffic flow as an example,defined a group of basic track attributes and analyzed the relationship between them;2.Taking the terminal area as the research object,established the traffic situation evaluation index system of terminal control area,and a traffic situation evaluation method was given.Then,the actual operation data of a certain day in a terminal area was taken as an example to verify the method,and obtained the traffic situation of each period.Distinguished the terminal control area into "congested","unimpeded" or "transitional".Finally,counted the number of aircraft in corresponding period to verify the congestion degree of terminal control area;3.Taking the control separation as the starting point,firstly,analyzed the characteristics of control separation,and it was found that when the control environment is basically the same,the controller has certain similarity when using the control separation;secondly,analyzed the change of aircraft separation in different situations and its relationship with the evolution of traffic situation in terminal control area.It can be known that when the aircraft flow in the terminal control area is large,the traffic situation is relatively crowded.When the aircraft flow is small,some aircraft separation is relatively small,and the traffic situation in the terminal control area is relatively smooth,so the controllers can adjust the traffic situation in the terminal control area by adjusting the aircraft separation.
