Head-up Display(HUD)allows the pilot to look forward to outside view of aircraft while also obtaining the important flight parameters in main driving instruments.However,with widespread application of HUD,Lots of experts have paid attention to the human factor problem caused by HUD.This article focuses on issues of HUD visual alarm display.Because HUD is a monochrome display,it cannot attract pilots’ attention through color changes.so it needs to use coding technology,especially to capture the attention of pilots in time when the aircraft is alerted Therefore,this paper conducts experimental research,selects the subjects and conducts simulated flight experiments,and analyzes the impact of coding technology in the subjects.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Master the research status and achievements of HUD warning information display on ergonomic issues,interpret and analyze the article FAR25.1322,from which it is found that the current use of coding technology in HUD warning display in China is not mature.Therefore,this paper focuses on the ergonomic impact of flashing coding and framing coding.(2)According to SAE AS 8055 and MIL-STD-1472 specifications,the specific parameters and reasonable levels are provided,and then carry out simulated flight experiment.Whereafter,a variety of indicators are used for evaluating.By collecting the eye movement data of subjects,performance and subjective evaluation scores of the subjects,and combining the experimental design methods of single-factor design,intra-group design,Latin square design and dual-task design,each evaluation index is more sensitive to the level of variables,thereby making the measured data more accurate.(3)Statistical analysis is performed on the data of each evaluation index measured in the experiment.After ANOVA analysis of single factor,the results show that both blink coding and framed coding can improve participants’ performance,but blink coding can also increase mental workload.The bivariate correlation is adopted for analyzing the correlation of evaluation indexes.In consequence,pupil diameter and loss rate are factors that have a greater impact on subjective evaluation.
