Solid thermal storage electric boilers,as the promotion equipment of the "coal-to-electricity" policy,can not only reduce the environmental pollution caused by coal combustion,but also implement "peak shifting and valley filling" for power loads,so it has good development prospects.However,during the operation of the boiler,the electric heating wire burns out from time to time,which seriously affects the reliability of the equipment operation.Therefore,analyzing the cause of this fault and avoiding it during design and operation has important practical significance for the application of thermal storage electric boiler equipment.The thesis takes the original 10 kV high-pressure solid-state heat storage electric boiler of the boiler plant as the research object.First,the thermal physical parameters of the boiler heat storage body were measured using a Hot Disk thermal constant analyzer,and the relationship between the thermal physical parameters of the air and the temperature was fitted.Secondly,based on the geometric parameters of the original solid-state heat storage electric boiler,a numerical model was established using Gambit software,and the model was numerically simulated using Fluent software.The simulation results show that during the operation of the original boiler,the inconsistency of the internal temperature of the heat storage group is very serious.In the study of improving the structure of the boiler,the original boiler was separated into two independent heat storage units by placing insulation boards,and both adopted independent bottom-up air supply airflow organization methods,which was different from the original boiler the way to supply air from up and down.Numerical simulation results show that the mass flow of air in the upper and lower heat exchange channels tends to be the same in the improved boiler,and the temperature difference between the upper and lower heat storage bodies is significantly reduced.The results show that the burnout of the electric heating wire is due to the large internal temperature difference in the heat storage body group,and the inconsistency of temperature rise and temperature drop is the root causes of the inconsistent internal temperature of the heat storage body group.The unreasonable organization of the hot air circulation causes the temperature rise and temperature drop of the heat storage group to be inconsistent,and the hot pressure caused by the difference in air density in the wind room before and after the heat storage group is an important reason for the unreasonable air organization.The research results provide a useful reference for the improvement of solid-state thermal electric boilers.
