Today,with the highly developed social civilization and science and technology,the development of science and technology catalyzes all kinds of packaging.Excessive packaging leads to the waste of resources,the aesthetic fatigue caused by the packaging design imitating the foreign design style and the self-confidence of local culture,which affect the development of modern packaging design in China.Motse’s creation thought contains profound technical pursuit and aesthetic concept,which opens up new ideas for the innovation of modern packaging design and the inheritance of traditional culture.Motse is in the era of Ideological and cultural prosperity and the transformation of production relations.The emergence of new technology promotes the development of productive forces and provides a technical basis for the creation activities.The creation thoughts come into being with the social progress.Motse’s creation thought is of great significance for us to solve the problems of material waste,aesthetic follow-up and cultural identity in modern packaging design.The subject of this paper is based on the application of Motse’s creation thought in modern packaging design.It is divided into three parts: the first part describes the background of Motse’s creation thought,combs its content,summarizes Motse’s creation view,creation practice,and the core view of creation thought.The second part summarizes the factors that affect modern packaging design,including the change of consumer psychology and aesthetic concept,the production of new materials,etc.,and analyzes the development trend of modern packaging design through cases.The third part,mainly from the function design moderate,the natural material reasonable utilization,as well as the recyclable material use and so on several aspects discusses the Motse creation thought which conforms in the modern packing design,and proposes some suggestions and the ponder to the future modern packing design development: how the traditional culture manifests the connotation from the packing design,inherits the development;how the packing structure realizes in the design Now innovation;and through packaging design to build brand image.Finally,from the perspective of packaging design,the graduation work,inspired by Motse’s creation thought,designed the "Memo" stationery packaging with four landmark scenic spots in Qingdao as the packaging visual elements,combined with the smart and practical structural practice.Through the study of Motse’s creation thought,we can deeply understand the avant-garde and cultural value of Motse’s creation thought.With the modern packaging design as the media to carry forward,adhere to the cultural self-confidence and ingenuity of Chinese design,the road of design can go to the future.
