The Investigation Of The Space-quality Upgradation Of Xi'an Ring-city Park

Park is an important outdoor public space for people's leisure,which plays an important role in improving the urban ecology and enriching the functions of the city.Xi'an Huan-cheng Park is a historical and cultural landmark park of the ancient city,which is also an important place of memory for Xi'an people.Because of the long construction time,high pedestrian flow and high frequency of use,a number of areas need to be upgraded,including the functional layout,road traffic organization,landscape construction in terms of cultural characteristics,humane design and quality connotations.This study puts forward the strategy in order to improve the quality of the park space,which was base on the analysis of the whole section and three systems of the Park.This study performed the multi-faceted,multi-layered and multi-faceted analysis of the region which taking the connotative stock enhancement as the overall planning idea based on the interpretation of the concept of "spatial quality" and the research background of the Park in the context of planning transformation.The experience was summarized and the methods were introduced for the improvement of the spatial quality of the Park throughreferring to the relevant basic theoretical,research synthesis and case practice at home and abroad,the macroscopic interpretation and absorption of the details.The social and humanistic reasons for the formation the current status of the Park were analyzed in the perspective of the historical evolutionary process.And the analytical method,such as on-site research,heat map analysis,spatial syntactic analysis,etc.,were adopted to reveal and characterizethe core issuesin depth affecting the experience of park audiences.The factors were comprehensively combed and analyzed through grasping the elements of spatial qualitypreciselywhich affecting the spatial quality of the Park in accordance with human needs in the current reality thatthe spatial quality of the Parkhas been declining.And theupgrading technology path and strategieswere proposed based on the analysis of the influencing factors,which were mainly around functional space,traffic space and landscape space.In the perspective ofthe functional space,regional functions were horizontal integrated by means of a cross-sectional linkage analysis.The historical and cultural display,integrated tourism services,leisure and entertainment services were implanted from the perspective of urban integration linkage.The genealogies of historical functions were linked longitudinally.It is implanted with heterogeneous functions to form ecology,leisure,fitness,experience,culture,rehabilitation,entertainment,recreation,services and display "ten functional spectrum",which taking into account the needs of different groups of people.At the general level,the overall spatial functional layout is revitalized and the spatial carriers and lifting methods were clarified through spatial structure and functional zoning.In the regard of road traffic,a classification study was conducted in conjunction with internal and external traffic in the park.The road traffic pressure in surrounding cities was relieved mainly through a combination of traffic control on city streets,graded guidance on ring roads,additional parking,etc.Transitional links were softened with additional entrances,plazas,pedestrian tunnels,etc.at the edge of the park.The internal park road is constructed through the macro road network system.And the layout of the road network is optimized through the main road at a microscopic level with optimized morphology and encrypted branch roads.Finally,the spatial syntax is combined with a comparative analysis of the overall road network layout of the park before and after upgrading with the aim to demonstrate the scientific reasonableness of the upgrading strategy.In the perspective of landscape space,the investigation was carried out to reflectthe regional features of Xi'an,which was primarily based on human needs.The law of interaction between landscape spatial environment characteristic variables and people with independent characteristics were dug deeply,which was performed by drawing on environmental behavior-research methods,evaluation concepts and characterization techniques.The landscape space was proposed which suitable for the elderly,the disabled,the middle-aged,the youth and children from the law of environmental behavior.Enhancement of ideas and strategies were proposed in accordance with humanized landscape facilities and personalized landscape plant configurations.Finally,the research ideas,analytical methods and therevealed characteristics and patterns of the full text was summarized,which facilitated to look ahead to the space and breakthrough points for further research.This article takes human needs as the starting point,the current situation as the issue-oriented,stock planning as the guiding idea,space function,road traffic,landscape space as the grasping hand.The spatial reasonableness was demonstrated from multiple perspectivesby integrating the analytical methods of relevant disciplines,which was on the basis of revealing the characteristics and laws of the Parkhistory and human evolution.This study can provide reference and reference for the study of spatial renewal and upgrading of general types of urban parks in the perspective of analytical path,research methods and optimization objectives.
