With the increasing attention to environmental protection and emissions in China and in the world,a variety of new energy sources are competing.The continuous development of various new energy technologies has attracted people’s attention.China’s energy development strategy has put forward the promotion of "electric energy substitution" in the field of transportation.The "Guiding Opinions on Promoting Electric Energy Substitution" issued by it has clarified the requirements for promoting the development of electric energy for vehicles and ships.With the rapid development of battery technology,the energy density and volume density of batteries have been greatly improved.For the ship transportation industry that requires large-capacity batteries to provide propulsion power,batteries have become possible as a power source for ship propulsion.The Cantonese Opera Red Boat is a tourist boat on the Pearl River.It is mainly used for Cantonese opera performances and sightseeing during the night tour of the Pearl River Channel in Guangzhou.This paper takes the Cantonese opera red boat as the research object,researches the electric propulsion system with battery as the main power source,and proposes a design and configuration scheme of the whole ship power system.After researching and analyzing the power battery,according to the power load requirements of the ship under various operating conditions,the capacity of the battery pack was determined,and the ship power battery selection and configuration design was carried out.The research object selects DC networking technology with greater flexibility.In this paper,the structure design of the DC network power distribution system was carried out,the short-circuit current calculation and coordination analysis were performed,and the design of the DC ship network power distribution system for the whole ship was completed..The design of the ship’s electric propulsion system was designed and studied.By calculating the power of the electric propulsion system,the selection and design of the main configuration of the electric propulsion system was carried out.The innovation point of this article is to propose a configuration mode of theelectric propulsion system with the battery as the main power source and the generator set as the backup power source.This mode not only retains the characteristics of low carbon emissions,low vibration noise,etc.,but also ensures redundant and safe operation of the ship.In this paper,by designing and analyzing the power system of the Red Boat ofCantonese Opera,the proposed technical scheme of the DC network power system meets the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction and is economically feasible.This paper gives the main configuration of the DC power system through calculation,data statistics and comparative analysis.This article provides reference ideas for other similar small and medium-sized ships in inland rivers with short voyages.The research theory and methods have broad popularization value.
