As an important engine of urban economic development,catering industry has attracted more and more attention in recent years.A good catering development is inseparable from a scientific catering spatial pattern.It is of great value and significance to understand and grasp the current catering spatial pattern for macro-control of urban catering development.Based on the POI data of Gaode map of the catering industry in the central city of Hefei,this study explores the catering spatial pattern of the central city of Hefei from two aspects: the current situation characteristics of the catering spatial pattern and the evaluation of the catering spatial pattern,in order to provide reference for the optimization and development of the catering spatial pattern in the future.The research shows that the spatial distribution of catering industry in the central urban area shows a strong regional difference.There are many and dense catering points in the north and northeast of the urban area,while few and scattered catering points in the southwest and northwest of the urban area.The high-density catering areas are mainly concentrated in the old urban area of Hefei.The core distribution structure of catering in the central urban area shows the layout characteristics of "two main cores,five sub cores and many small cores".It has a relatively complete core system structure as a whole,but its core spatial distribution position is relatively centralized as a whole,and there are great differences in the perfection degree of the core system in different jurisdictions.The spatial distribution of the catering points in the central urban area is closely related to the population distribution in the urban area,and most of the catering points are distributed around the urban roads in the central urban area.In the process of urban development,catering in the central urban area has formed the spatial structure characteristics of "double ring and multi wedge".The spatial location of "double ring" structure is consistent with the "main city center" in the urban spatial layout of Hefei,while "multi wedge" is mostly based on the urban layout basis of "fan type" in Hefei,and is distributed around the surrounding of "double ring".In addition,the overall direction distribution of catering industry in the central urban area is also highly consistent with the "double fan" structure in the spatial planning of Hefei city.It can be seen that the spatial layout of Hefei city has played a greater role in promoting the formation of its catering spatial pattern.Catering in the central urban area mainly relies on the basis of its catering distribution structure for the evolution of its form.With the increase of the number of catering,its form is constantly expanding to the surrounding areas,and presents a certain trend of southward movement.There are some differences in the spatial distribution density,spatial distribution distance and the overall degree of concentration among different types of catering in the central urban area,but there are high similarities between the spatial distribution structure of catering and the spatial distribution direction of catering.According to the evaluation results of the spatial pattern of catering in the central urban area,the overall richness of catering in the surrounding areas of Hefei old city is the highest,the overall satisfaction and calorific value of catering in the surrounding areas of Hefei government affairs center is the highest,and the overall accessibility of catering in the central urban area of Hefei and the surrounding areas of Hefei railway station is the highest.Among the comprehensive evaluation results of the catering spatial pattern in the central city,the area around the government center has the highest comprehensive evaluation result.
