Research On The Protection And Use Of Industrial Heritage In Changchun City Under The Guidance Of Cultural And Creative Industries

Ever since the end of the 20 th century,with the rapid economic development and upgrade and transformation of industrial structure in China,many regions have already kicked off research on urban renewal as well as the renovation and renewal of old industrial historical areas.The cultural and creative industries have also started to rise and been given increasing attention.An increasing number of cities take the combination of cultural and creative industries with the protection and use of industrial heritage as the top choice for protection and renewal of industrial heritage.Changchun is one of the important old industrial bases in China.It has left valuable industrial heritage resources at different historical periods,contained rich cultural connotations and extremely high comprehensive value,and attached great importance to the protection of industrial heritage.Moreover,in recent years,cultural industry has enjoyed rapid development in Changchun and is becoming the pillar industry of urban economic development.Regarding the protection and use of industrial heritage in Changchun city,intervention in the form of cultural and creative industries can protect and extend the cultural connotations of industrial heritage and bring higher economic and social benefits to the city of Changchun.This thesis starts from the characteristics of the cultural industry and development plans of Changchun city,and discusses the principles and strategies for the protection and use of industrial heritage under the guidance of cultural and creative industries.Part One of the thesis introduces the research background,objectives,significance and thesis framework and illustrates relevant theoretical concepts as well as domestic and overseas theoretical research and practice.Part Two clarifies the urban functional position of Changchun city and sorts out the development evolution and status of cultural and creative industries and industrialheritage in Changchun city.Part Three analyzes the characteristics of industrial heritage reconstruction in Changchun city as well as the influence factors for its combination with cultural and creative industries: economic infrastructure factors,adjacent architecture functions,and the development position of the region.Finally,the thesis proposes the principles,integrated planning,and targeted design for the protection and use of industrial heritage in Changhun city under the guidance of cultural and creative industries.The research on the protection and use of industrial heritage under the guidance of cultural and creative industries not only conducts specific transformation and use based on the condition of each industrial heritage,but also is closely related to urban historical evolution,cultural layout,and planning structure.We should avoid isolation in the protection and use of industrial heritage.This thesis proposes strategies on the protection and use of industrial heritage in Changhun city under the guidance of cultural and creative industries from the two aspects of integrated layout and targeted design and hopes to provide reference on the protection and use of industrial heritage in Changchun in the future.
