HSR has become an indispensable and important transportation tools in people's lives in the future.In recent years,China's HSR has been in a leading position in the world.However,the current facilities and services in the HSR station are not perfect,and it cannot meet the needs of passengers.The comprehensive “improving quality and increasing efficiency” plan currently implemented by the China Railway Group emphasizes the construction of a benchmark station area.Among them,the comprehensive improvement of the facilities and services in the HSR station and further meeting the needs of passengers are the key of that.Due to the characteristics of HSR stations,passengers' needs in the stations are generally convenience needs.Therefore,this article studies the perceived value of convenience of passengers of in HSR stations.From the perspective of demand,this article provides suggestions for HSR stations,to help them to enhance the value of passengers' convenience perception in the station and further meet the convenience needs.The convenience needs of passengers in the HSR station are comprehensive and not simply quickness needs,this article will analyze this comprehensive demand and use structural equation models to study the perceived value of passengers' convenience.In order to obtain first-hand data of convenience perception in passenger stations,this paper uses questionnaire survey.This article from the perspective of passenger's subjective perception selects the HSR station as the research object to study the perceived value of convenience,aiming to get the influencing factors and paths of the HSR station's convenience from the perspective of passengers,and shows recommendations for the HSR station.Through field research on HSR stations along the Beijing-Shanghai HSR line,this article considers that the design of some stations currently does not match the current passenger flow;the security inspection efficiency is low,and the ticket-taking process is not smooth;the chair setting is unreasonable;the number of service personnel is insufficient in some stations.Combining with previous literature studies on railway satisfaction,this paper selects five latent variables such as convenience,comfort,safety,accessibility and service level according to the definition of convenience,and more than 20 corresponding variables as measured variables.In this paper,the questionnaire is designed based on the corresponding measurable variables and distributed to residents along the Beijing-Shanghai HSR.A total of 1,213 valid questionnaires have been recovered.After analyzing the overall data structure equation model,this article finds that comfort,quickness,accessibility,safety and service level will all have a positive impact on the passenger's perceived value of convenience,of which quickness and comfort have the greatest impact on passengers' convenience perception,and accessibility secondly,the impact on security and service level is in a low level.This article further divides the data into large,medium and small stations,and performs structural equation tests on them.It is believed that quickness and comfort have a greater impact on the perceived value of convenience for stations of different sizes;accessibility has a greater impact on the perceived value of large and medium-sized high-speed rail stations.After that,in order to implement the empirical result,based on questionnaire surveys and field investigations,this paper conducted a case study on two stations of different sizes at Beijing South Railway Station and Suzhou East Railway Station.This paper finds that it is difficult for Beijing South Railway Station to satisfy passenger's demands in quickness and accessibility aspect,and Suzhou East Railway Station to match passenger quickness requirements in quickness field.Therefore,the improvement of quickness not only can meet the most critical needs of passengers,but also is an important aspect of enhancing the perceived value of convenience.Finally,this paper states that in the future,the convenience of HSR stations should firstly ensure the quickness,accessibility and comfort,and take into account the safety and service level in orde to meet passengers' convenience demands.Moreover.Improving the convinience according to the station size and specific conditions.
