With the development of the urban rail transit network,passenger demand increases significantly.The network of passenger flow also leads to a substantial increase in passenger flow,passenger transfer times and transfer waiting time.As passenger requirements of travel quality and efficiency improves,how to reduce passenger travel time becomes a major issue for the operating department.At the same time,as urban rail transit lines continue to be networked,the cost of operating companies increases significantly.Therefore,how to reduce operating costs becomes another concern of the operating department.The train operation plan is an important content of the urban rail transit network operation organization,which determines the efficiency and service level of the operation organization.The study of the train operation plan based on the time-dependent passenger demand can effectively balance the supply and demand relationship,improve the service level of the operating department and protect the interests of passengers.Existing studies rarely consider the matching of time-dependent passenger flow and train operation plan under network conditions.Based on the time-dependent passenger demand,this paper optimizes the train timetable and train routing plan of the urban rail transit network.The main work is as follows.(1)This paper summarizes the research status of train timetable and train routing plan at home and abroad,summarizes and analyzes the deficiencies of existing research comprehensively and gives the main research content of this paper.(2)This paper analyzes the influencing factors of the train operation plan of the urban rail transit network in detail and explains the optimization of the train operation plan in this paper includes the optimization of train timetable and train routing plan.Besides,this paper analyzes the necessity,principles and framework of the optimization of train operation plan based on time-dependent passenger demand.(3)Based on the above analysis,a train timetable synchronization optimization model based on passenger demand in urban rail transit network is proposed.The model aims at minimizing passenger total waiting time and the number of passengers who fail to transfer.The constraints of train operation,transfer relationship and train capacity are considered.Genetic algorithm is designed to solve the model.The CPLEX solver and genetic algorithm are both used to solve the numerical test,and the feasibility and effectiveness of the model and algorithm are verified.(4)Considering the constraints of train operation,transfer relationship,total number of train routes and train capacity,an integrated optimization model of train timetable and train routing plan is constructed to minimize the operating cost of the enterprise and passenger total waiting time.The model is verified by using CPLEX to solve the numerical test.According to the characteristics of the model,an enumeration algorithm is designed to solve the model.(5)Two real-world case studies based on the Shenyang rail transit network and Guangzhou Metro Line 3 are applied to validate the proposed models.The optimization results show that the train timetable synchronization optimization model can effectively reduce passenger total waiting time and the number of passengers who fail to transfer.The optimization results also indicate that the integrated optimization model of the train timetable and train routing plan can effectively reduce the operating cost of the enterprise and passenger total waiting time.With 62 figures,34 tables and 62 reference literatures.
