ABSTRACT:With the large-scale development of China’s urban rail transit and the intense construction of urban rail transit lines, the great effect of train routing gradually stands out. Reasonable and feasible train routing plan can not only make transport capacity match passenger demand better, but also reduce the amount of the train making sure that the sections of urban rail transit under the reasonable load and maintain a certain service level. This paper analyzes influence factors of train routing plan, summarizes the principles and steps of train routing plan compilation, and build optimization model for train routing plan compilation. The main work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) This paper expounds the advantages, disadvantages and setting conditions of different forms of train routing. Illustrating that for a single line, when inequality degree of passenger flow is high and there are turn-back conditions in intermediate stations, the enterprise can organize the multi-routing operation of urban rail transit. When the amount of transfer passenger between different lines is large as well as the signal, power supply for rail traction, station facility meets the conditions of setting cross-line train routing, the enterprise can consider to set cross-line train routing. The influence factors of train routing plan has been analysed from three aspects as passenger, equipment facilities and the allocation of transport resources by enterprises. In the three aspects, the travel demand of passenger is the most important one.(2) Multi-objected optimization model of urban rail train routing is set which take passengers’ travel cost and enterprise operating cost as the objective function, operation complexity, the ratio of traffic and capacity in every section and the bound of departure interval as limiting condition. Then, genetic simulated annealing algorithm is used to solve the model.(3)With the examples of city H, this paper analyses the characteristic of passenger flow as well as conditions of equipment and facilities, compiles the train routing plan using the model and algorithm mentioned above and a sensitivity analysis is also performed. Compared the optimal train routing schemes with which on single train routing condition, the result shows that the decrease of acquisition expenses of the train and the cost of train running mileage are4.25%and3.54%, and the cost of passengers’ transfer time is reduced by30.38%. The result verifies the validity of the model.(4) The conclusion of this dissertation is as follows:first, a reasonable train routing plan can effectively reduce the acquisition expenses of the train and the cost of train running mileage thereby reducing the operating costs of enterprises. As to the matching degree of the passenger low and the train routing, a reasonable train routing plan can effectively promote the matching degree. Second, with the setting of cross-line train routing, passenger transfer time is significantly decreased. The reason can be illustrated from two aspects:one is that a part of transferring passenger flow is converted to direct passenger flow, the other one is that cross-line train routing makes a part of transferring passenger can transfer in more than one station thereby reducing the stress of transfer station.
