In the early stage of market economy,the foundation of the state-owned enterprises became stable relying on the support of national economy and the market economy,but in recent years with the increasing domestic and foreign competition and the dwindling of oil resources,petroleum enterprises as the state-owned monopoly enterprises are facing enormous challenges.In this context,A oil-field power supply company as one part of the oil industry has been trying to seek development under pressure,hoping to establish a modern enterprise management system to improve the efficiency of the staff through effective performance assessment.With the improvement of the overall level of management and the core competitiveness of enterprises,the enterprises can survive and develop.The enterprise has its own performance evaluation standards,but with the development of enterprises,the original performance appraisal program is too simple and the problem is increasingly prominent.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out a full range of optimization and improvement on the basis of the existing performance appraisal program.This paper picked the A oilfield power company as the research object.First,it introduced the research background,purpose and significance of this paper,Second,by reading a large amount of literatures,it expounds the related theory of performance appraisal,introduces the process and methods of performance appraisal;Third,we communicated with the company’s employees by using questionnaires and interviews,and then found the performance appraisal scheme of the enterprise and appraisal program has the problems as follows: the existing performance evaluation index is not scientific;The design of program is unreasonable;The appraisal methods is single;the appraisal process is unserious;the participation of staff is negative;the performance appraisal results have small application;the assessment results of employee feedback and complaint blocked.According to the existing problems,at the basic of the original performance appraisal system of this enterprises,it can put forward the new performance appraisal program optimization ideas and have omnibearing and scientific improvement from the performance evaluation index design,the performance appraisal of technical preparation stage,the implementation stage of the appraisal performance appraisal project and the result feedback of performance appraisal.In this paper,it also introduce the probable resistance and response methods on the new performance appraisal program in the future implementation.Finally,it put out the conclusions and deficiencies.
