Optimization And Evaluation Of Urban Public Transport Network In Small Coastal Cities

With the rapid development of small coastal cities,the cities have begun to face traffic problems such as a surge in motor vehicle ownership and traffic jam.Giving priority to the development of public transportation is an effective way to solve traffic problems.A reasonable bus network is the key to ensuring the efficient performance of public transportation.However,the researches on bus network are generally concentrated in large cities,while there are few studies on small coastal cities.In this text,the following researches are mainly carried out on the bus network of small coastal cities.Firstly,defining small coastal cities and analyzing the space layouts,land utilization,frequent typhoons,characteristics of traffic system and travel of residents in small coastal cities.It can be concluded that distinctive traffic characteristics and travel characteristics of residents in small coastal cities.Secondly,on the basis of the forecast of bus demand,According to the characteristics of bus in small coastal cities,selecting the shortest travel time of residents and the lowest cost of bus enterprises as the optimization objectives,and establishing a model for optimizing bus network in small coastal cities;solving the optimization model by utilizing route optimization.Analyzing the weak link of the current publictransport network,and optimizing the current bus network by combining the optimization model and the route optimization adjustment method,so as to obtain the optimized bus network in small coastal cities.Thirdly,this paper summarizes the significance and process of bus network evaluation in small coastal cities.According to the selection principle,six evaluation indexes are selected to establish the evaluation index system of bus network which suitable for small coastal cities,and applying the fuzzy comprehensive analysis method to evaluate the bus network.Finally,taking the main city of Ningde as an example,using the above optimization theory and evaluation methodology,optimizing and evaluating the bus network.Through the case analyses,it has verified the feasibility of the proposed methods in this paper.
