The Ji'nan Public Transit Network Optimization Design Research

Traffic is a vital aspect of people's livelihood, and traffic congestion is becoming one of the nerve-racking problems faced by most city governments. Development of big cities in the world has shown that transportation is the fundamental way to ease transportation congestion.At present, traffic congestion appeared in cities of Chinese, and in the near future, this problem will aggravated belong with "bigger" & "taller" process of cities, the expansion of city space, the renewal and the intensity of land use make trips longer and needs increased. To solve this problem, we must make the high capacity transportation system to play a very important role in urban traffic system. This paper will take the design of transportation network in West Hub City as an example, to introduce the method of qualitative instrument combined with quantitative instrument, make the optimization of network adapt to land use, not just focus on passenger. And also introduce the measures to make sure all the planning be put into practice. That maybe suggestive.
