Residential planning and design is an important part of architectural design,and it is necessary to comprehensively deal with various design elements such as architecture,transportation,landscape,and sunlight.Based on the research of building generation design,this study explores the settlement generation method under the environmental constraints by using the residential planning and architectural design under the rules as the carrier.This paper uses the 0-1 integer programming as the main algorithm.The general plan is planned to generate a design chain for the apartment design.In view of the fact that the design of settlement has many design factors and large quantity design,this study divides the whole design process into three parts: First,restricted by the environmental constraints,the sunlight target and the floor area ratio are the main objective functions,and research of the qualification rules of 0-1integer programming;Second,based on common functional topological relations and lighting requirements,seek reasonable objective functions and constraints,and establish a house type generation model;Third,Restricted by the building volume,the layout of input type and traffic space require translation,explore the generation logic and layout constraints of different kinds of spatial organization.The main part of this research consists of theoretical research and several generation experiments,the experiments are all programmed by JAVA language.Through the establishment of mathematical models and the translation of architectural design elements,the methods of generating residential design are explored and experimented.In the design process,the designer needs to formulate and select reasonable parameters and rules according to the requirements to ensure the efficiency of the program and the rationality of the results,and finally obtain the generated results that satisfy the designer's requirements in a short time.
