The development of cities today shows a growing trend of integration of cities,buildings and transportation.In the urban construction of contemporary China,urban complexes and urban rail transit systems are frequently intertwined.Therefore,combined with the convenience of rail transit,the commercialization of the subway,the expansion of the radius of commercial real estate,has become a win-win strategy for the development of commercial real estate.The development of the industry's rail transit complex is mostly led by the government,and rail transit is the dominant factor.Therefore,joint development is possible.This move creates a premise for deeper space compounding and efficient land use.The form of this "rail-crossing + complex" development has also gradually become normalized,and the market share has also grown steadily.According to the data of the "White Paper on Rail Transit Complex",the proportion of China's firstand second-tier urban complexes in the 2012-2014 urban complex has been more than half.After opening up the space barrier between architecture and rail transit,the boundaries between the two became increasingly blurred,resulting in a new type of space that stitched together.The scope of this paper is the new type of space---the connection space.The spatial object that the composite design of the connection space mainly relies on is the pedestrian system that carries the flow of people.The logical expression of the commercial space is also attached to it by different connection modes.However,the commercial complex-oriented urban complex lacks the attention of developers and government departments to pedestrian pedestrian performance.Adopting appropriate convergence strategies in the upper level planning and architectural design stages will greatly improve the efficiency of pedestrian traffic and stimulate the vitality of urban public space.This paper goes deep into the complex design strategy of connecting space in the architectural space scale.The design strategy of staying in cities and regions is more specific.The author conducted on-the-spot investigations on more than ten domestic rail transit station complexes,supplemented by excellent practical cases visited during the master's degree abroad,and compared with the city.The basic design theory in the book "Integrated Design of Buildings" proposes a spatial composite design strategy with squares,architectural atriums(borders),three-dimensional roofs,underground commercial pedestrian streets,and air corridors as the core connecting elements.Trying to sort out and summarize the design rules and design appeals of the articulated space,and strive to systematically present the key points in its design method and design process.In order to provide design ideas for the design of future railroad complexes.At the end of the article,I made the author's understanding and answer to the question of the composite transformation design of Xi'an Nanmen Square and surrounding complex.
