In order to improve the anti-risk ability of water supplement system and ensure the water safety,“Water quality safety support engineering of requisition of raw water in Runzhou water source” was conducted by Zhenjiang government in 2014.Changjiang intake sluice gate and reversible pumping station were established based on origin external diversion canal,which was reconstructed to raw water prepositional adjusting storage pool connected with reserve water with the combination of internal diversion canal.On one hand,this could improve intake condition of internal diversion canal,on the other hand,there can be enough time for water supplement industry to do analysis of raw water quality through shifting an earlier time for prepositional adjusting storage pool and raw water monitoring.Moreover,instant effective measures can be took for sudden incident of raw water pollution to improve the safety of city water supplement.This paper is mainly aimed at the accomplishment of reconstruction of “Water quality safety support engineering of requisition of raw water in Runzhou water source”.The diversion canal level would be kept at yellow sea elevation height of3.5-4.5m.And the water level of absorbing well is relatively constant.However,the water level of absorbing well is significantly affected by the water level of Yangtze river.When selecting the pump of the water pump station before reconstruction,the designed flow rate is regarded as the sum of maximum daily water consumption and the water consumption of aqueduct leakage and water purification structure.The head of pump is the total of elevation difference(net pump head)of water purification structure imported surface and dry level,and aqueduct head loss corresponding to the designed flow.Preliminary study on analysis of pump station operation and type selection method has been conducted.The specific work is as following:1.According to the characteristics of pump station,the online measurement method of pump and equipment practical characteristics has been established.Two pump station operation has been tested.And each of the operation has been analyzed.The results show that the efficiency of pump in the Jinshan pump room sharplydecreased.The actual efficiency decreased by 15%.But there was no need for technical reconstruction because the pump still ran at high efficiency.2.On basis of the practical tested data and water intake system,the models of two pump station based on Flowmaster have been established.Simulation of each possible operation based on the model has been conducted.The results could validate that the utilization of this model could significantly decrease the test times of practical reconstruction and reduce the cost.All above could provide theorectical foundation and reference for relevant reconstruction in the future.3.Based on the water production provided by Jinxi factory and Jinshan factory,along with the water supply situation,the new design operation spectrum has formed through the relevant principle of mathematical statistics with the combination of Flowmaster simulation system.Considering the optimal operation and reconstruction cost,Jin xi pump station operation would work with low energy consumption after the conduction of the support engineering.The results could indicate that the design head of pump should be 5 meters lower with the same design flow rate because of the low efficiency of pumps in Jinshan pump station.4.Implementation assessment has been done for various case of Jinshan pump station reconstruction.Under the guidance of the scheme and practical situation in the field,the design of a new double-suction pump,manufacturing,production test,installation and debugging in the field have been accomplished.The results have proved that after reconstruction the pump could not only meet the satisfaction of requirement of current water production,but also work in high efficiency,with low cost and under good condition.And the electricity charge has reduced by 200,000 yuan when finishing the reconstruction after one year.And the cost could be withdrawn within one year.
