Deep foundation pit engineering is always a comprehensive problem in the geotechnical field.It not only involves strength,stiffness,stability,and permeability.In addition,pile-soil interaction is also a very critical issue.The soil arch effect is a phenomenon in which the stress state of the soil changes due to the uneven displacement of the soil.It transmits the pressure acting on the arch or the arch to the arch foot and the surrounding stable medium.Based on the principle of soil arch effect,consider how to make better use of the soil's own properties,so as to achieve the purpose of optimizing the design of foundation pit support and reducing engineering costs.At present,the soil arch effect is mostly based on the research of anti-sliding piles,and there is little research on deep foundation pits.This paper takes a deep foundation pit project in Handan as the background,performs design check calculations on it,proposes a calculation method for earth pressure under the effect of soil arch effect,improves the reasonable arch axis,and analyzes the formation conditions of soil arch.The numerical simulation method is used to establish a pile-soil finite element model to study the influencing factors of the horizontal soil arch effect.The main research contents of this article are as follows:(1)Through the key analysis of 5-5 support units,corresponding data is obtained,which provides a reference for the establishment of the following mechanical model and finite element model.(2)From the perspective of mechanics,establish a mechanical model,improve the rational arch axis,and obtain the improved rational arch axis equation,and expound the formation conditions of the soil arch from the aspects of force balance and strength conditions.The most unfavourable position of the arch was analyzed.(3)By establishing a finite element model,the stress changes and displacements in the X and Y directions under the influence of different loads,cohesion,internal friction angle,and pile spacing are analyzed,and the influence of the above factors on the formation of soil arch effects and Scope of action.
