Study On The Contribution And Strategy Of Jiangxi’s Water Transport Industry To Regional Development

In the new situation of rapid economic and social development in our country,the requirements for the construction of a comprehensive transportation system are increasing constantly,and the development of inland waterway transportation is required to improve the comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network.As one of the major provinces under the grand strategy of central China’s rising,Jiangxi province is in the golden period of waterway transportation development.The inland waterway network extends to all directions,and the development of the waterway transportation industry has a great promotion effect on the development of the cities,the growth of the regional economy,and the improvement of the people’s living standards.It also has great significance for the improvement of urban ecological environment and transportation environment.Firstly,this paper reviews the domestic and foreign research on the policy,economic development and other related aspects of the water way transportation industry,and summarizes and draws lessons from the development experience of the domestic and foreign waterway transportation industry.Secondly,the general development status of inland waterway transportation in Jiangxi Province is summarized,including achievements and existing problems.Then,in view of the natural,location,policy,capital,enterprises and other related factors of inland waterway transportation in Jiangxi Province,the contribution of econometrics to the development of waterway transportation economy in Jiangxi Province is analyzed comprehensively.Finally,the SWOT analysis method is used to analyze the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and threats of the inland waterway operation industry in Jiangxi Province,and the corresponding strategic choices are obtained.Based on the above study,this paper points out that the government should put forward the development and improvement of inland waterway transportation policy,enlarge the construction of waterway and port facilities,speed up the construction of collection and distribution system,optimize the structure of ship transport capacity,develop specialized transport,strengthen the scale construction of enterprises,improve the informatization level of inland waterway transportation,vigorously train high-quality shipping personnel,construct and develop a green waterway transportation system.
