Design And Application Of Cold Source Group Control System In Super Large Data Center

In the large data center at home and abroad,there are many downtime events caused by the fault of the cold source system.At the same time,the power consumption of the cold source system accounts for nearly half of the total power consumption of the data center.Therefore,a more intelligent group control system logic is needed to optimize its operation mode,and to reduce the system energy consumption while ensuring stable operation of the business.Based on the summary of the design points of the water-cooled cold source group control system in the super-large data center,this paper proposes a set of intelligent control logic of the cold source system of the data center,Based on the project application,the application effect of the super-large data center cold source group control system is demonstrated.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:Firstly,aiming at the stability and reliability of the data center cold source group control system,this paper discusses the design specifications of the super large data center cold source group control system from the aspects of system architecture,function,control logic and testing.Afterwards,for the problem of high energy consumption of the data center cold source system,the control logic of the cold source group control system mode switching,adding and subtracting machine,start-stop protection,frequency conversion adjustment,etc.provides an efficient energy management strategy for the data center.Through the linkage control of the whole system,the natural cold source operation efficiency is fully utilized while ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the cold source system.Finally,based on the experimental data of China Mobile(Hohhot)data center,the specific cold source requirements of the data center are analyzed.In the case of the intelligent control logic of the water cooling system proposed in this paper,the cold source group control system is detailed.After the scheme is designed,the system is tested with single system and joint system,and good optimization results are obtained,which shows the effectiveness and applicability of the group control logic.
