With the improvement of living standards and the rapid development of urban construction, buildings need to equip multiple elevators to improve the quality and reliability of transport services. On the one hand, the increasing of elevators couldn't meet the multiple demands of modern buildings, on the other hand it causes serious problems of the environmental pollution, the energy cost and the low operating efficiency.The main problem of Elevator Group Control is that the system is complex, nonlinear and uncertainty. Modern architecture used Elevator Group Control technology to operate elevator group. It can improve the quality of service and operational efficiency, at the same time, it can reduce energy consumption. The researchs of Elevator Group Control system have long history In our country the related researchs are less and information is also lack. This paper introduced the basic concept and development process of Elevator Group Control technology. Then the paper analyzed Elevator Group Control technology research status. At last this paper explained the purpose and significance of the study of this issue.The elevator traffic determines the dispatching strategy of the Elevator Group Control system. The paper analyzed the characters of elevator traffic system firstly, further point out the identifying of traffic pattern by the statistics about the elevator traffic. The paper proposed a dispatching model of the Elevator Group Control System with multi-object optimization. The paper analyzed the multi-object need of the Group Control System firstly, then it introduced the mathematical model of multi-object optimization, and provided the solution of the elevator dispatching. Dues to the stochastic and uncertainty of Elevator Group System, the experience of control are very important. The paper studied the characters of the system, designed the basic group control regulations and the dispatching strategy.The paper analyze the processes of passenger flow and elevator operation in Elevator Group Control. By modeling both of two processes, the paper simulation traffic conditions of elevator system. The simulation results validate the proposed algrithm.
