Research On The Business Model Of Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone

Almost all the developed countries in the world have adopted the development of intelligent connected vehicles(ICVs)as a national strategy,and they are all vigorously building ICV pilot zones.Under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(the MIIT),seven national pilot zones are established in China.Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone is one of them.Since the ICVs and their pilot zones are in the early stage of development,the theoretical research is still in its infancy,and there are still some problems in practice.Therefore,the research and analysis of the business model of Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone is of great significance to the relevant theory and actual development of ICV pilot zones.The main work of the thesis is as follows:(1)Taking the three national pilot zones of Shanghai,Beijing and Chongqing as reference standards,the publicity and report materials about the three pilot zones were collected from the official websites and official accounts.And combined with the detailed investigation of the staff in the three pilot zones,the grounded theory was used to encode the source materials,and a total of 752 original labels,558 initial concepts and 202 initial categories were obtained.In view of the above,the components of all the three pilot zones’ business models were extracted.Through the comparative analysis of these business model components,the theoretical model of the ICV pilot zones’ business models was constructed.(2)Based on the constructed theoretical model,the construction planning and the development status of the global pilot zones,the comparative analysis and summary of the components in the theoretical model was conducted.And then the connotation of each component and the corresponding mode selection were proposed.Finally,the alternative types of the business models of ICV pilot zones were summarized.(3)Using the morphological analysis method,combined with the actual situation in Wuhan,the thesis analyzes the business model of Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone from the four innovation dimensions,and proposes the selection schemes of each dimension.Finally,the innovative design scheme of the business model of Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone is obtained.(4)Using the Balanced Scorecard,the evaluation index system of the business models of ICV pilot zones was constructed from the four dimensions of finance,customer,internal operation process,learning and growth.And with the help of the analytic hierarchy process and questionnaire,the relative weights of the evaluation index were calculated.The main innovations of the thesis are as follows:(1)Through the combination of the grounded theory and case study,the thesis proposes the components of the business theoretical model of ICV pilot zones,and then constructs the theoretical model.(2)Through comparative research,summarization and other thinking processing methods,the connotations of the business model components are deeply analyzed and with the help of the morphological analysis method,the business model of Wuhan Intelligent Connected Vehicle Pilot Zone is innovatively designed.(3)Based on the balanced scorecard,the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,the thesis builds a set of evaluation model system for the business model of ICV pilot zones with practical application value.
