With the continuous expansion of the power grid and the increasing demand for power grid security,we have put forward higher requirements for power relay protection systems.In order to improve the reliability of the protection,it is necessary to conduct pre-simulation research on the action characteristics of the relay protection during faults.The importance of timely and safe handling of fault information and the prevention of multiple power outages in the distribution network are self-evident.The characteristics of edge computing are to meet the needs of digitalization in various industries in real-time business,data optimization,application intelligence,security and privacy protection.Edge computing is especially suitable for power relay protection systems because of its characteristics.This paper has completed the following aspects of the power relay protection system and security protection technology under edge computing:1.The principle of distance protection for transmission lines in power relay systems is analyzed,and the impedance relay protection model is constructed.The distance protection behavior can be studied more clearly through the simulation results.2.The protection principle of the transformer in the power relay system is analyzed,and the protection model during no-load closing and internal and external ratio braking is constructed,and the correctness of the model is verified by simulation analysis.It helps us to deeply study the protection mechanism of transformer.3.Build a model of the fault traveling wave of the power relay system,and extract and analyze the traveling wave of the simulation result,which is helpful for a deep understanding of the understanding and analysis of the fault traveling wave information.4.A method for power outage risk assessment scheme based on graph and potential function is proposed and implemented.First,establish a power system distribution network security risk map,and at the same time introduce a potential function to quantitatively calculate and analyze the security risk in the figure,to obtain effective information such as key nodes and node potential values in the figure,so as to achieve power outages in the power system distribution network Risk analysis and assessment.In summary,taking edge computing as the application background,this paper mainly studies and analyzes the principles of power relay protection and blackout risk assessment schemes,establishes the model of the relay system,simulates and analyzes it;deduces the algorithm of risk assessment,and gives examples of algorithms,Case verification,continuous in-depth,and achieved certain research results.
