Research On The Construction Of The Staying Space Of Streets And Lanes In The Historic District Of Beijing

With Beijing’s gradual emphasis on traditional culture,the protection of the old city has always been the hottest topic at the moment.The new version of the master plan issued by Beijing in 2017 enables more relevant units to take the protection of the old city as the goal,and promote the rapid improvement of streets and alleys,as well as the environmental improvement of streets and alleys.This is an important opportunity for cultural revival.However,some streets and alley spaces present a kind of "beautification" renovation,focusing on the beautification of the environment and the cleanliness of the space.This approach is beyond reproach,but in the street culture,compared with the "appearance" of the street space,the more important is the humanistic spirit of Beijing and the affection of the neighbors.This article is aimed at the streets and lanes within the historical district of Beijing’s old city.From the perspective of the protection and renewal of the old city,combining the concept of human care,it focuses on the staying space in the public space of the street.Analyze the formation logic of the dwelling space and the influence of the dwelling space on the streets and streets,and then summarize how the dwelling space can meet the needs of modern people.Finally,study the movement habits of the crowd in the modern life mode,analyze the types of streets and alleys,and find out the problems faced by modern streets and lanes.The final conclusion is to put forward how to deal with the layout and design of the stay space in the improvement of streets and lanes.This article is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,research objects and methods of the thesis,domestic and international research reviews,research purposes and significance,and research framework.The second chapter studies the historical background of the staying space,reviews the development of the old city of Beijing,and analyzes the formation process of the staying space on the streets.Secondly,by analyzing the factors that influence the formation of staying space,it is concluded that the staying space is mainly affected by social and human environmental factors.Finally,the positive impact of the dwelling space on the streets and lanes is explained,which paves the way for the importance and demand of dwelling space in modern life.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics of staying activities and staying spaces in different types of streets.This chapter divides the streets into three types of streets: commercial streets,residential streets and cultural streets.According to the characteristics of these three types of streets,Dashilan Commercial Street,South Luogu Lane,Zhuanta Lane,Xisi area,Guozijian Street and other streets to analyze the staying space and crowds’ activities in these three types of streets.It is concluded that different types of streets and lanes have different needs for stay space.The fourth chapter is to analyze the dilemma encountered in the development of stay spaces in the historical and cultural blocks of the old city.Combined with field investigations,the predicaments of the development of streets and lanes in the historical and cultural streets of the old city were sorted out,and the characteristics of the streets and lanes and the three types of streets and lanes were analyzed.The conclusion is that the improvement of comfortable and pleasant spaces in streets and lanes requires comprehensive consideration from policy guidance,development direction,crowd needs,management methods and unique inherent needs of streets and lanes.The fifth chapter is a preliminary exploration of the construction methods of staying spaces in historical streets,from macro development strategies to the construction principles and construction strategies of staying spaces in streets and lanes,and the methods of classifying staying spaces in streets and lanes.
