The convenient to people in life brought by the rapid development of automobile industry,some social problem such as environmental pollution and energy crisis are also brought.As a kind of effective vehicle weight loss,lightweight technology can reduce automobile energy consumption,improve the handing stability and riding comfort.Lightweight design has been transformed from the traditional structural optimization to the use of lightweight materials,the use of advanced manufacturing and connection technology,and optimization of structural optimization methods.Under the premise of ensuring the strength and stiffness of automotive bodies and components,different cavitation,thin-walled,miniaturized,and integrated design concepts are used for different parts and components to reduce the use of materials.Although the development of automobile lightweight in the country is very fast,most of the new vehicle designs are now using reverse design.Through market research,a variety of competing models are sought.After benchmarking,the parameters that meet the performance requirements of new models are found.Then complete the design of new models by the CAE optimization design.Furthermore,The automotive lightweight process is a complex process that requires multiple departments to collaborate with each other,and the determination of the vehicle’s lightweight weight goal also requires repeated verification.Aiming at the problems above automotive lightweight design research,car lightweight forward integrated development process,the control of automotive lightweight progress and the key techniques of lightweight development studied in this article.The main research works in this thesis are:(1)The developing design process forward are systematically explained in this section,including the automotive lightweight design process,including the early development stage,the detailed design stage,design verification stage and mass production stage.At the same time,a detailed analysis of the current situation of auto lightweight development controls and forms a lightweight design organization structure,the current lightweight sorted out the problems existing in the development process.(2)A multi-dimensional characterization parameter modeling method is used to build a lightweight database.The lightweight coefficient corresponds to theentire vehicle performance parameter,and a more comprehensive lighter vehicle comprehensive evaluation system is developed so that the lightweight target can be better resolved to subsystems and components.Meanwhile,control the whole vehicle lightweight process,including every important time node in the process of lightweight,which can ensure the car parts and subsystems within the prescribed scope of light weight,guarantee the design and development progress.(3)Analysis detail the key technology in automobile lightweight development process,including multiple parameters data collection,multiple representation method and sub-model build,construct database based on multiple characteristic parameter model,establishing the synthetic evaluation system of the vehicle lightweight,and vehicle weight target decomposition,etc.Finally,based on regional sensitivity analysis to the key body structures are proposed and the optimization objects are changed from single independent parts into any focus area.Meanwhile,the multi-layer morphology optimization technology will effectively implement parts characteristics by the method optimized design to the positive and negative two directions at the same time.To realize the joint optimization of car body,solder joint optimization,section optimization to lay a theoretical foundation,which can better realize the white body lightweight.
