Mechanical transmission includes gear transmission, chain transmission, friction wheel transmission, belt transmission and screw transmission etc, among which screw transmission has the advantages of simple structure, smooth transmission, large transmission ratio and power increase ratio, easy to realize self-locking,high load-carrying capacity and reliable operation,so it has a wide range of applications in relevant mechanical equipment and instruments.According to the friction state between helical pairs, there are three main types of helical transmission: sliding helical transmission, rolling helical transmission and hydrostatic helical transmission.Compared with the other two kinds of helical transmission, sliding helical transmission is more widely used because of its advantages of simpler processing, lower cost, and being able to withstand greater load and impact. However, because of its high friction and low transmission efficiency,it has the advantages of energy saving. The utilization efficiency of the source is not high,so it is of great social and engineering significance to study how to improve the efficiency of sliding screw transmission. In this paper, the trapezoidal screw drive is taken as the research object.Through the research and development of the efficiency test-bed of screw drive and taking the self-developed test-bed as the experimental research platform.Combined with the dynamic simulation based on ADAMS software, the relevant parameters affecting the efficiency of the trapezoidal screw drive are experimentally studied and simulated, and the corresponding conclusions are drawn.1.The simulation results show that when other parameters remain unchanged, the change of rotational speed has little effect on the friction moment of the friction pair.Increasing the screw radius will increase the friction moment of the friction pair, and increasing the number of spinning and closing cycles will increase the friction moment of the friction pair.2.The experimental results show that different rotational speeds have little effect on the friction moment of nuts and screw transmission efficiency;with the increase of radius, the friction moment of friction pairs is increases and the screw transmission efficiency is decrease;with the increase of the number of turning-in cycles, the friction moment of friction pairs is increase and the screw transmission efficiency is decrease.3.Relevant conclusions: In the practical application of screw drive,in the case of meeting the strength requirements and actual working conditions, smaller radius of screwand fewer cycles should be selected to achieve higher efficiency of screw drive;the change of rotational speed has little effect on the efficiency of screw drive.
