With the advent of the era of new numerical control, the design and machining ofspiral bevel gear be dominated by digital control technology, spiral bevel gear has brokenthe traditional design concept and process ushered in a new development space. Thedomestic and foreign experts made a lot of research in the area of the tooth surfacestructure optimization design load, the tooth surface contact analysis, Computernumerical control processing methods, improve the gear processing equipment, the gearmeshing vibration and noise control of spiral bevel gear, and transmission dynamics ofgear on the Spiral bevel gear, and made some substantive breakthrough. Especially thespiral bevel gear tooth surface error compensation and complicated tooth surfacemodification solved by the birth of the3D touch type design system, which made therealization of high precision heavy load transmission spiral bevel gears of high qualityinto reality.These new processing ideas and technology research is mainly used in military,national defense, such as aerospace, ships, however, the status quo of domestic ordinaryspiral bevel gear transmission efficiency does not changed due to the limited ofexpensive processing equipment and advanced manufacturing technology. As is wellknown, the spiral bevel gear is an essential part of auto transmission parts, but alsowidely used in other machinery industry.Therefore, improve the efficiency of spiral bevelgear meshing transmission has important economic significance, but also response to thenational environmental protection policy of energy conservation and emissions reduction.Tutor Gao Zhong-yong has done a lot of research in "friction damping associated"and "micro convex body oil film elastic supporting effect",and which as the theoreticalbasis for study of spiral bevel gear meshing transmission efficiency of this paper. By thesetted up of the spiral bevel gear transmission efficiency test platform, the determinationthe transmission efficiency of the gear in different rotational speed and different load canbe got. And though the rational lubricating oil allocation of the friction pendulum test,the following conclusion can be drawn by compare different lubrication.Though the experiments, the transmission efficiency can be influenced by frictionself-excited vibration caused by spiral bevel gear tooth meshing impact; the efficiency ofthe spiral bevel gear meshing transmission can be improved with the reduce of frictionself-excited vibration by configure the lubricating oil; the gear meshing transmissionefficiency also affected by oil lubrication oil viscosity and adhesion ability, so reasonablechoice of lubricant and lubricating mode will help improve the tooth meshingtransmission efficiency.
