With the development of automatic driving technology in the automotive industry,the major automobile manufacturers regard it as the goal of the development trend of automotive technology,and the driving safety of automotive vehicles has gradually become the focus of technical research.ISO 26262 was born,which put forward requirements and specific applications for the functional safety of road vehicles.This paper mainly studies the control strategy of EPS system under autopilot mode according to ISO 26262 method.The details are as follows:(1)first,according to the functional characteristics of the self-driving vehicle,the driving scenes of the autopilot mode were introduced and analyzed,and the scenes related to EPS system in the autopilot scene were extracted as the operating scenes in EPS risk rating assessment.(2)According to the functional safety requirements of ISO 26262,the failure modes and driving scenarios of the EPS system are combined to evaluate the risk level,and the functional safety requirements of the EPS system are analyzed.(3)Then,the control strategy of EPS system is formulated according to the functional safety requirements.CarSim-Simulink co-simulation method is used to simulate and verify different failure modes.(4)Finally,the software control strategy is introduced into the target EPS controller,and the vehicle ride validation is carried out for lane change request,snake request,circular request and step request.Combining with the actual situation,typical error conditions(too large corner)are selected to carry out vehicle test.
