The Yangtze River is known as the "Golden Waterway" and plays a pivotal role in China's domestic shipping. In order to meet the growing transportation demand and solve the problem of congestion in the Three Gorges hub and the "infarction" in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, the new channel of the Three Gorges and the construction of artificial waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River have been put on the agenda. The planned artificial waterway in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is located between the Zhicheng and Weizhouwan in the lower reaches of the Three Gorges Project. The total length of the waterway is about 230 km.The transport distance will be shortened by about 260 km compared with the existing natural channel in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. After the completion of the Yangtze River, the middle reaches of the Yangtze River will be formed.New and old waterways formed by natural waterways and artificial waterways.Ships passing through the old and new waterways are mainly from ships passing through the Three Gorges Project on the Yangtze River trunk and ships with short-distance transportation in Hubei Province. With the economic development of the Yangtze River and the continuous improvement of the navigation environment,as well as the completion of the new channel of the Three Gorges waterway, the traffic volume of the Three Gorges will increase significantly, and the demand for water transportation in Hubei Province will continue to grow.In the future, the new and old waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River will Facing the pressure of waterway freight. The artificial waterways and natural waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River have different navigational environment attributes.Different ship types choose different navigation paths, which not only affect their comprehensive benefits, but also increase the congestion of new and old waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River when the freight volume increases. In order to plan ahead,to achieve maximum passage capacity of new and old waterways, minimize total transportation costs, and minimize ship passage time, ensure the smooth and efficient navigation system of the Yangtze River trunk. The optimization of the new and old waterway ship types and their navigation paths in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is extremely crucial. In view of this kind of problem, the mathematical model is mainly established by theoretical methods, and the optimization scheme is used to solve the optimization scheme. Some scholars use computer simulation technology to further verify the optimization scheme obtained by the mathematical method and propose an improvement strategy, but basically no implementation is realized.Real-time simulation solution. In order to make up for the shortcomings of the existing methods, this paper combines the characteristics of ship type and the characteristics of the navigation channel to construct a dynamic generalized cost model to obtain the dynamic generalized cost that will be generated when each ship chooses different navigation paths. At the same time, based on Anylogic software, the new and old waterways in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River can be established in real time. The simulation platform and the dynamic generalized cost model are embedded to realize the real-time simulation optimization of the new and old waterway navigation paths in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Finally, the recommendations for the annual artificial watercourse charging standards for each freight volume and the corresponding ship type and navigation path optimization scheme are proposed. The research results of the thesis can provide support for the management department to optimize the ship scheduling, and also provide new ideas and methods for similar research.
