Nowadays,the city faces the serious problem of traffic congestion,air pollution and global warming.To tackle these problems,the policy of promoting the public transport has been applied in many cities.Among the multiple public transport mode choices,public bicycle has been operated in many states and received a great development around the world because of its pollution-free and convenient features.It should be noted that the optimization of the location problem of public bicycle-sharing system directly affects the operation of the system.The content of this paper comes as follow:Firstly,this paper summarizes the present situation of bicycle-sharing system both at home and abroad,reviews the development of bicycle-sharing system,introduces the present situation of rental mode that one can rent a public bicycle without piling and compares it with the traditional piling public bicycle rental mode,analyzing the advantages and disadvantages between two rental mode and their future development.And then,this paper summarizes the research in this field at home and abroad.Secondly,the paper introduces the composition and present situation of bicycle-sharing system,analyzes the function definition,main customer object and service pattern of the system.Besides,the paper also introduces the operation situation of the traditional bicycle-sharing system,analyzes the present problems in the bicycle-sharing system and puts forward the corresponding solutions.Moreover,the effective recommendations of better promoting bicycle-sharing system in the future are provided in the paper.Thirdly,the factors influencing the traveler choice is analyzed.The common models of mode split are introduced.In this paper,the multiple Logit model is selected to construct the travel demand model.Through survey sampling,the travel data is collected.Analyzed by the MATLAB,the result of the model finds out the main factors which influence the traveler's choice and demonstrates how these six factors influences traveler to choose public bicycle.Fourthly,the paper introduces the purpose of location choice and the relevant common method.The paper introduces the common discrete location model.According to the traveler satisfaction degree,the paper chooses the Sigmoid function to fit the traveler's time satisfaction.Moreover,the multi-objective location model is constructed by the minimization of the cost of constructing bicycle rental sit,the least distance between the travel starting point and rental point and the best service quality.To solve this multi-objective model,the genetic algorithm is used in this paper.It is noted that the more comprehension optimization is achieved by total cost and service quality in this paper.Lastly,the constructed sample is used to analyze and select the initial location plan and build the optimization model.By using genetic algorithm to calculate the model,the optimization of given rental points is carried out.Combined with the turnover rate of bicycle and parking piles,the public bicycle location plan and the number of bicycle and parking piles as each rental point are obtained finally.The paper has proved the model has a strong practicability,which can provide the theoretical basis for the optimization of public bicycle location in real application scenario.
