Research On The Effecting Factors Of Energy Cooperation Between China And Russian

With the process of rapid industrialization and urbanization in our country,energy demand continues to grow rapidly to bring the national energy security great hidden trouble.At the same time,Russia’s energy trade is suffering defeat.The falling of international oil prices and western countries’ boycott,lead to Russia’s domestic economic downturn.These objective conditions promote development of the energy cooperation between China and Russia.The two countries has achieved remarkable results in energy field and improved the trade.This article analyzed the resources endowment difference,energy cooperation progress and energy trade,to expand the influence factors of energy cooperation.Use the trade gravity model and genetic algorithm to carry on the empirical analysis based on the data from 1995 to 2014.Results showed that the scale of our country economy and population,Russia’s energy surplus capacity,the merits of the system of exchange rate,trade and the international political situation are the main influencing factors.It puts forward some policy Suggestions:(i)promote regional economic cooperation and strengthen energy strategy cooperation;(ii)use the international political situation to expand energy cooperation;(iii)reduce the differences in prices and increase the autonomy in price negotiations;(iv)promote cooperation in energy technology and deepen innovation of cooperation system.
