Study On The Influencing Factors Of Sino-Russian Energy Cooperation Development

With industrial upgrading and the development of green economy,China’s demand for clean energy is increasing,and its demand for natural gas is increasing day by day.The annual import quota of natural gas is increasing.Russia is an important neighbor and ally of China,and the cooperation between Russia and China in energy is conducive to China’s long-term and stable access to oil and gas resources.Russia has been hampered by the United States and the European Union since it underwent social changes in the 1990 s,economic reforms and cross-border energy transactions.As an important energy exporter,cooperation with China in energy and natural gas will help increase export channels and reduce external restrictions.Since the outbreak of COVID-19,the global economy has been plunged into crisis.Western developed countries,led by the US,have adopted trade protectionism due to their own economic pressure,slowing down the already sluggish global economic recovery.Under the severe international situation,China and Russia also face a series of difficulties,such as unreasonable domestic trade structure,increasing trade friction with the United States,declining foreign trade volume and increasing internal pressure to expand domestic demand.In 2021,in order to promote the recovery of the domestic economy,China implemented the international and domestic "double cycle" strategy,which further deepened the cooperation foundation between the two countries in the energy field.This paper deeply studies the history and current situation of Russia-China energy cooperation,explores the main factors restricting the development of Russia-China energy cooperation,and then analyzes the current situation and development prospects of RussiaChina energy cooperation with SWOT analysis method.Practical and feasible policy suggestions are put forward for the expansion of Russia-China energy cooperation and development.
