Iron and steel enterprises will produce a large number of zinc-containing dust in the process of production and operation.These sludges contain a large amount of iron and zinc.If these sludges are directly landfilled or used as building materials,a large amount of resources will be wasted and the environment will be polluted.If these sludges are directly used in the production of blast furnace without any treatment after recovery,the zinc enrichment of blast furnace will be caused and the safe operation of blast furnace will be affected.In order to realize the high value recovery and utilization without affecting the safe and economic operation of blast furnace,the application of converter to treat these zinc-containing dust is an advanced technology and the preferred technology at present.Converter bottoms can be directly reduced and dust treated by incineration.The high temperature flue gas generated can be recovered by waste heat boiler to enhance its added value,which brings considerable economic benefits and environmental benefits for enterprises.Due to the special nature of dust particles in flue gas discharged from rotary hearth incineration,it is easy to deposit on the heating surface of waste heat boiler,which leads to serious ash deposition,and alkali metals and chlorine elements in ash deposition can lead to serious corrosion.For example,the improper design and operation of waste heat boiler structure and ash removal on heating surface often results in serious ash accumulation on heating surface,remarkable decrease of heat transfer effect,increase of resistance,and even blockage,which makes waste heat boiler unable to operate normally,seriously affecting the availability of waste heat boiler and the whole system.Therefore,according to the converter waste heat boiler project of a steel plant,this paper first understands its system technology,analyses the main components of smoke and dust,then studies its ash accumulation mechanism and corrosion mechanism,finally adopts reasonable structure of waste heat boiler,assists effective ash cleaning mode and operation,and designs the converter waste heat boiler.According to the actual use,the design of the waste heat boiler is proved to be successful.In this paper,the research on Optimum Design of heating surface and ash removal technology of waste heat boiler is carried out,and the popularization and application of this waste heat boiler can be accelerated through the application of specific design and operation in practical engineering.
