With the development of highway network and transportation industry,long-distance efficient transportation becomes the future growth point of truck market.High-speed tractor has a higher requirement for comfort because of long distance and running time.Therefore this paper selects the high speed tractor as the research object,studying the ride comfort optimization of commercial vehicles(trucks)and the relationship between subjective and objective evaluation.First of all,according to the comparison between subjective and objective evaluation of the truck with same working condition,selecting a truck as the optimization object,and taking the vehicle model with better comfort as the benchmark,the driver seat,cab suspension and suspension system as the analysis object,make an analysis of transfer function characteristics of each vehicle and system,find out the optimization direction of the truck.Secondly,set up a model by using Adams/View,input the measured parameters of key assemblies into the model,and compare the transfer function characteristics of driver seating av value,cab seats,cab suspension,suspension system with real vehicle tests for model correction,then apply the improvement direction proposed by real vehicle test to the vehicle model,so as to improve the vehicle ride comfort.To evaluate and confirm the effect of improvement parameters on the output,conduct a robustness analysis of corresponding parameters using Optimus,making the optimization parameters in the model analysis more stable.According to the optimization solution obtained in the vehicle simulation,produce prototype parts and apply physical modification to the real vehicle,carry out the subjective evaluation and objective test again,then verify the effect of vehicle ride comfort optimization.The research results in this paper show that this method is feasible through each transfer function analysis of vehicle and systems.In the inquiry of existing literatures,the subjective and objective evaluation methods of ride comfort are relatively independent of each other,correlating the subjective perception to objective test acceleration range.However,the subjective evaluation of this study is a kind of scoring system based on customer acceptance of perception towards vehicle,by using the subjective and objective values of multiple samples and through regression analysis,find out the relationship between the subjective evaluation and objective evaluation index,derive objective evaluation results with subjective evaluation results of other real vehicle,analyze the deviation of theoretical objective evaluation from practical objective evaluation,then select the relationship with minimum fitting deviation.In the evaluation of vehicle ride comfort,the aim of this paper is to try to replace objective evaluation partly with subjective evaluation based on the user’s perspective,at the same time make use of this relationship to promote the improvement of subjective evaluation.The relationship between subjective and objective evaluation under consideration can evaluate the performance of the vehicle seat comfort rapidly,saving evaluation time and resources.Transfer function analysis,vehicle modeling simulation and real vehicle test show that,to begin with the analysis on characteristics of transfer function,the comfort optimization solutions can be quickly found.Through the relationship between subjective and objective evaluation,the preliminary results of objective evaluation are obtained with high accuracy,having vital significance in solving practical engineering problems and laying a good foundation for the subsequent fast solution and method to evaluate ride comfort.
