In modern automated production,in order to ensure product quality,product reliability testing is a vital link in the production process—low-voltage plastic case circuit breakers widely used in power distribution systems.In the production process of the circuit breaker,the fast and accurate positioning of the trip screw is the most critical step in the extended delay test of the circuit breaker.Therefore,improving the test efficiency of circuit breakers and improving the intelligent test system is the focus of this paper.This system based on the research project "Smart Research on Molded Case Circuit Breakers" of XXX Co.,Ltd.in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province.Based on the detection of circuit breakers on the production line,this system has developed and developed a set of intelligent test systems for low voltage moulded case circuit breakers.The main research work of this paper contained below:(1)In the system development process,in order to meet the ability to locate the screws in real-time during testing,this system applied machine vision technology,positioned and detected the locked target through VC++ and open-source computer vision library(OpenCV).The positioned progress used the steps of image collection,ROI abstract,image pre-treatment,image edge detection,screw central coordination abstraction.Then the positioned system will transport the final coordination to PLC,and PLC will control the movement of the operator once received the signal and complete the precision positioned of the long-delay test of the circuit breaker.(2)When applying machine vision technology to the system,for the two steps of greying and filtering and denoising in image preprocessing,an improved weighted average algorithm based on particle swarm optimization and an improved gradient reciprocal weighted average filtering algorithm used to improve the effect of image processing.(3)According to the needs analysis,the overall functional structure and process of the system were designed.On this basis,five functional modules were implemented,namely the system management module,product management module,configuration file module,and machine vision module.When implementing these functions,This article demonstrates in the form of code and effect diagram,and then performs the communication process through PLC,and finally completes the test of the circuit breaker product.This system has entered the testing phase on the XXX production line.Due to therequirements of the project team,this project has signed a confidentiality agreement.Some data and pictures have been specially processed and are not convenient to be disclosed in this paper.The system achieves fast,efficient and accurate testing of circuit breakers,reducing the testing time by more than 35%,which has good use-value.
