The central urban area of small and medium-sized cities,as the economic,political and cultural development of the city,play an important role in the development of the city.With the acceleration of urbanization and motorization,the green and healthy way of walking,the advantages in small and medium-sized cities are gradually weakened by motorized travel,and the unreasonable pedestrian transportation system planning brings about the owing of residents' walking.Good travel experience.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen understanding of the psychological travel appeal of the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities,a reasonable pedestrian street network and a good pedestrian street environment,enhance the travel advantage of walking in small and medium-sized cities,and promote the transfer of residents from motorized travel to green travel.Firstly,by studying the definition of walkability,the paper analyzes the research content and research methods of walkability,and summarizes that urban morphology and street environment are two key points of walkability.Next,a street walkability study boundary was proposed for generalized street environments including walking distance,street cyberspace and street landscape environment,and clarify the spatial network attributes and landscape environment attributes of street walks,which will be organized for later research content.The structure provides the foundation.In addition,the characteristics of the pedestrian traffic system in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities and the development characteristics of the traffic environment in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities were analyzed.It finds that the spatial structure of the central urban area presents the center of the new city and the old city,which causes the spatial structure of the urban area to change.The planning and design cooperated with the interactive development of the new old city;then we analyzed the land use of the central and urban areas of the small and medium-sized cities,and found that it showed the initial development characteristics of the economic development along the street,and gradually developed into groups.At the same time,based on the collected data,we can summarize the distance traveled by residents in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities and the distance of walking in the transportation mode.Finally,in the demand of Maslow,the basic psychological appeals of walking traffic are divided into five aspects: mobility,protection,comfort,entertainment and identity,and the inner appeal intensity of each psychological appeal is summarized.Then a method for analyzing the shape of the pedestrian network in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities was constructed.Firstly,from the scale of the spatial syntactic system,the economics of walking and the similarity of the components of the pedestrian network in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities and the feedback of the development of pedestrian street networks,this study demonstrates the application of spatial syntax to small and medium-sized cities.The feasibility and rationality of network analysis of urban pedestrian streets.Then,after comparing the expression model of the pedestrian street network and the spatial syntax application platform,we selected Depthmap and proposed a multi-dimensional analysis of the pedestrian street network in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities from time and space.The proposed scheme includes the following steps: stripping the pedestrian street network from the satellite image,topologically processing the street network,constructing a syntactic analysis database,and selecting syntactic parameters such as overall integration degree,local integration degree,spatial intelligence and network integration kernel.Visualized quantitative analysis of the pedestrian street network in the central and urban areas of small and medium-sized cities.The results obtained by the above schemes provide a theoretical basis for the planning and optimization of the pedestrian street network.Based on the walking index model,this study constructs a pedestrian street space environment model.Firstly,through the DeepLab model,the crawling Baidu Street View image is semantically segmented to extract the visual perception components,and then the POI points of interest provided by the API interface are used to extract the street function factors,and then walking scale elements obtained by investigation.The obtained factors are classified and assigned weights,according to the travel distance in small and medium city,set a reasonable facility distance attenuation coefficient,and correct the walking index.Finally,the GIS platform is used for visual analysis to provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation and design of walking environment by divided into functionally-oriented pedestrian,visually-oriented pedestrian,scale-oriented pedestrian and elemental-equilibrium pedestrian.Taking the pedestrian street in the downtown area of Gaoping as an example,through the field observation and questionnaire survey,the characteristics of the current road network in the downtown area of Gaoping,as well as the number of travels,the purpose of travel,the way of travel,the distance traveled,and the travel time of residents Time distribution characteristics were analyzed.The spatial syntax is used to derive the overall characteristics of the pedestrian street network in the downtown area of Gaoping and the relationship between the local and the overall street network.Based on the analysis results,the integration and optimization strategies of the pedestrian street network are proposed.Then,we climbed the Baidu streetscape picture of Gaoping downtown area and supplemented the street environment picture and semantically segmented it to extract parameters.Combined with the acquired POI,we quantitatively analyzed the street environment based on the pedestrian street space environment model and proposed the environment.Design optimization strategy.This experiment verifies the feasibility of the proposed method and model.
