With the implementation of Sichuan-Tibet highway and railway projects,the challenge of strong ground movement and fault misalignment to bridges becomes more and more serious.The historical earthquake damage shows that the most widely used simple support beam and continuous beam are the main form of destruction in the end is the lack of shear and falling beam.It is difficult to resist the rare earthquake in the high intensity area by simply strengthening the resistance of the girder system itself.It is necessary to develop targeted energy-absorbing shock-absorbing devices.In this paper,in response to this demand,an oil damper for energy-cancelling and anti-falling beam function has been developed.The main results of the work are as follows: 1.From the principle layer systematically analyzed the characteristics of existing energy generators at home and abroad,to absorb the advantages of which are suitable for anti-falling beams and strong earthquake requirements,the main technical parameters of the transformation and optimization,to determine the design of dampers to meet specific requirements.2.The theory deduces the key parameter selection process such as damper stroke,output and damping characteristics,and establishes the general method of damper design.3.The prototype system test,verified the feasibility of the design calculation method,and discussed several key parameters such as damping medium,through hole geometry scale and other effects on the overall performance of dampers.4.The actual bridge application designed damper seismic effect.The calculation shows that after applying the damper,5% to 30% of the additional damping can be provided for the bridge structure,which can reduce the seismic load by up to 40%,and when the fault displacement is encountered,the beam moving limit(anti-falling beam)function can be played.
