Research On The Effects Of Contractor's Trust Degree On Bidding Price

The main purpose of this paper is to study the effect of trust on bidding price from the perspective of contractors.In order to achieve the purpose,a theoretical model is constructed,in which the trust of the contractor is the independent variable,the bidding price is the dependent variable,and the fairness perception of the contractor with the contract text in the bidding documents is the moderator variable.Besides,the dimension of trust comprises goodwill trust and competence trust,the dependent variables are actually risk premium and management expense in bidding price,and the dimension of fairness perception only involves distribution fairness.Data collection was carried on a professional platform named ‘wen juan xing'.A total of 268 questionnaires were received from research objects,while 173 valid questionnaires were screened out.Then we used the software SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24.0 to test the reliability and validity of the data,carry out correlation analysis,and test the hypothesis with the method of regression analysis.Finally,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)Goodwill trust and competence trust are negatively correlated with risk premium quotation,and so are goodwill trust and competence trust with management expense quotation.(2)Fairness perception strengthens the negative effect of both goodwill trust and competence trust on risk premium quotation,while,it does not strengthen the negative effect of either goodwill trust or competence trust on management expense quotation.The meaning of this study lies in: theoretically,this paper takes the relationship between the contractor's trust and bidding price from the contractor's point of view as a subject for further study,and finds that contractor's fairness perception plays a moderating role in the relationship between the two,which not only enriches the research in the field of bidding price,but also extends the research on the impact of trust in the bidding stage.Practically,it can guide the bidding work in the future,and promote owners and contractors to pay more attention to their own integrity during the future construction progress,which is good for building a more fair and equitable environment in the field of construction.
