The 21st century is an information age,which also marks a new era of electrification based on information.With the continuous promotion of the concept of the global energy Internet,electric energy has become an effective carrier of energy conversion and utilization,such as oil,natural gas,coal,wind energy,water energy,etc.,and it is transmitted to energy heavy demand areas through UHV power corridors.In the four elements of generation,transmission,transformation and distribution of power system,each part plays an important role in the reliable and economic operation of power system.In the large power grid,the transmission line is the silver line connecting each substation,and the substation is the connection node in the power grid.It realizes the conversion and distribution of energy.It is connected with the power grid as well as the power users.It plays an important role in the power grid.In the design and construction stage of substation,design is the premise and construction is the fundamental.The quality of design directly determines the quality of construction and whether it can meet the actual needs in the later operation.Therefore,good scheme design is the most fundamental basis.Therefore,we should constantly improve and optimize the design according to the development level of power grid and the first scientific and technological achievements,and update the one of substation in time Only by keeping the secondary equipment in good operation condition,can we optimize the load distribution,enhance the reliability of power supply and serve the power users better.Suolun 66kV substation is located in Suolun Town,right front banner of Horqin,Inner Mongolia.There is only one substation in Suolun area,which is responsible for the power supply of agriculture,animal husbandry,industrial production and life in Suolun area.In this paper,through the analysis of the current situation of an old substation which has been running for several years and the actual investigation of the load growth in Solon area in recent years,the unstable factors of the line equipment and the critical hidden dangers under the load growth are found out,and the optimal solution is given.This paper discusses the positive significance of maximizing the use of existing primary equipment,increasing the capacity of small capacity transformer,improving the power supply capacity,solving the problem of low reliability of power supply and maximizing the voltage qualification rate to the economic development of Solon area.At the same time,this paperdiscusses the relevant regulations and specifications of the design,which way to analyze and judge the power supply demand in Solon area,and how large capacity transformer can meet the actual needs to achieve the most economic operation.According to the theory of power system and the change of power supply mode of Xing'an power grid,the short-circuit current and capacity of each voltage level of Solon 66 kV substation are calculated again,and the primary equipment that does not meet the requirements is selected again.At the same time,by taking advantage of the opportunity of this transformation,the power grid compensation equipment will be rearranged and equipped with reactive power compensation devices that meet the requirements.Finally,according to the configuration of primary equipment and its corresponding relay protection and safety automatic device,then you can get the project of the relevant secondary equipment configuration scheme design specification according to the configuration scheme of secondary equipment,such as relay protection,automation,electric energy measurement.etc,and finally the overall scheme of capacity expansion and transformation design is formed.
