For a long time,in order to meet the needs of domestic economic development,the construction of expressway has been an important project committed to development in China.In recent years,the development of expressway has also made a qualitative leap,whether in quantity or length,it has a very large increase.As a very important project in the construction industry,the development of expressway is relatively rapid,and the capital investment is often several hundred million or even several billion.It seems to many people that it is a very profitable project.However,according to the relevant data,the profit margin of the whole construction industry is very low,only about 3%.Highway construction is a time-consuming and labor-consuming project,and it is likely that there will be no profit or even loss when it is completed.Among the factors affecting profit,cost is a very important factor.There are many reasons that affect the cost,such as geographical environment,local economic environment,construction period,construction team,etc.In China,generally speaking,if you want to do a good job in the management of project cost,you must do a good job in the cost control link of the project.Only by reducing the cost,can you improve the profit of the project.In fact,you can take a series of methods to control the factors that affect the project cost and achieve the purpose of cost control.Based on the cost-benefit theory,the target cost management theory and the responsibility cost management theory,this paper optimizes the cost control of the project by combining the investigation research method,the literature research method and the case study method.Taking YB expressway project as an example,this paper expounds the general situation of the project,analyzes the current situation of cost control,clarifies the level of cost control of YB project at present,makes an in-depth analysis on the imperfect and existing problems of cost control of the project,and then puts forward some targeted improvement plans,and emphatically introduces the application of earned value method in cost control for YB project Cost control,provides a more effective method.At the same time,from the technology,system,organization three aspects,this paper discusses the YB project existing and should be improved,can effectively carried out relevant guarantee mechanism of cost control.I hope to provide some reference for other similar projects in cost control.
