Hospital oxygen supply system is an important part of medical construction project.Because the project construction of hospital oxygen supply system involves a wide range of specialties,the owners have high requirements for the overall quality,and concurrent engineering has a great impact on its progress,it is difficult to control the cost of the project.Achieving the progress target,quality target and cost target of medical oxygen supply system project is the three major goals of medical equipment construction enterprises,among which cost target and schedule target have a significant impact on project revenue.Therefore,in the process of project implementation,the effect of coordinated management of project cost and schedule is the key to effectively control project cost.The purpose of this paper is to introduce the earned value method of synchronous control of project cost and schedule into the project management of medical oxygen supply system installation,to promote the improvement of project cost and schedule control level,and to enable enterprises to achieve the goal of cost control of similar projects.Taking the project of medical oxygen supply system installation of W company as the resear-ch object,based on defining the theory and method of cost control,this paper concretely analyses the organizational structure,management system and work flow of cost control of the project of medical oxygen supply system installation of W company and the main problems existing,and expounds the necessity and feasibility of introducing earned value method to cost control of the project.Taking part of the construction stage of the WH Central Hospital Oxygen Supply System Installation Project undertaken by W Company as an example,the earned value method is applied to the cost control of the post-construction period of the project through such working processes as work decomposition,schedule and cost planning,cost measurement and earned value analysis,deviation cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures to verify the effectiveness of earned value method in the cost control of the project.This paper evaluates the effect of applying earned value method to cost control of WH Central Hospital project.It shows that earned value method is an effective method to improve the cost control level of medical oxygen supply system installation project.It can realize the coordinated control of cost and schedule in the project and improve the project management level of enterprises.
