With the continuous emission of greenhouse gases,the global climate is gradually warming,extreme cold extreme heat events increase,ElNi?o phenomenon frequent,California heat wave,African locust disaster,all remind us that the greenhouse gas crisis is gradually increasing.According to the International Maritime Organization statistics,for maritime transport,which accounts for 90 percent of the global trade volume,carbon emissions from maritime transport are expected to increase by 50205 percent by 2050 without control measures,and energy conservation and emission reduction have become an important issue for the shipping industry.As a result,the International Maritime Organization?IMO?issued the Guidelines on Voluntary Use of Ship Energy Efficiency Operating Index?EEOI?,the ratio of CO2 emissions to cargo turnover in actual navigation of operating ships is taken as the standard to measure the energy efficiency level of ships,which provides a scientific basis for shipowners to supervise and inspect the energy saving and emission reduction status of ships.In this context,in order to reduce the fuel consumption of the main engine and carbon dioxide emissions,to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction,this paper mainly carried out the following research:?1?Briefly describes the formulation principle and development course of the EEOI,analyzes the EEOI theoretical calculation formula,clarifies the meaning and application scope of each parameter,gives some suggestions for each data collection and calculation,and summarizes its advantages and disadvantages by comparing other relevant indexes.?2?The ship dynamics principle is used to analyze the force of the ship in the wind and waves,and the force of the ship is classified according to the physical phenomenon of resistance.?3?For the ship propulsion system,analyze the operating characteristics of the main engine and the operating characteristics of the propeller,draw the open water characteristic curve of the propeller,and establish the main engine fuel consumption model based on the transmission relationship between the ship-machine and the propeller,combine the Guidelines for the Voluntary Use of the Operational Index?EEOI?establishes an energy efficiency optimization model for ships based on EEOI,and the actual ship is used for verification.?4?On the basis of the previous research,using genetic algorithm and MATLAB software to design the ship energy efficiency optimization algorithm,using Jimei University internship ship as the verification ship,taking the ship's EEOI value in each voyage as the objective function,setting the for the ship's actual voyage and the normal working range of the main engine.By checking the ship energy efficiency optimization algorithm,the EEOI value will be reduced by0.31.1%and the main engine fuel consumption will be reduced by 0.02t0.67t..For the ships that have been put into operation,this paper establishes the ship energy efficiency optimization model based on EEOI,designs the ship energy efficiency optimization algorithm,and checks the calculation with the real ship.The results show that the optimization of energy efficiency can reduce the carbon dioxide emission and the fuel consumption of the main engine under the unit turnover of the ship,realize the energy saving and emission reduction of the ship,and provide a reference for the crew and the operation of the ship company.
