With the rapid rise of domestic e-commerce,it has also promoted the rise of logistics industry.At the same time,the increasing national income has also actively promoted the development of global tourism.The number of trucks,trucks and buses is increasing,and the traffic situation is becoming more and more complex.People's demand for the quality of travel is also increasing,"energy saving and environmental protection","comfort","safety"has become the key words of driving and riding.In order to meet the market demand,the automobile manufacturing industry continues to increase the power of all kinds of trucks and buses.However,with the speed increasing,the braking load of the whole vehicle also increases.All the braking load of the vehicle is borne by its own braking system.In the long run,the performance of the braking system will continue to decline.Braking for many times in the process of use will cause overheating of the brake pads,which will also be accompanied by the risk of vehicle stall.Therefore,with the market demand and national policy requirements,the retarder which can share 80%of the vehicle braking load came into being.As a new type of energy-saving and environmental protection,vehicle retarder plays an important role in vehicle braking system.Professor Li Desheng of Beijing University of technology proposed and developed a doubly salient electromagnetic liquid-cooled retarder.Taking this type of retarder as an example,this paper uses Maxwell software to establish the model of doubly salient electromagnetic liquid-cooled retarder and carry out simulation.The specific work and research results of this paper are as follows:1.The positive role of retarder device in the future automotive braking field is analyzed.The relevant laws and regulations at home and abroad also promote the development and progress of retarder.All kinds of retarder products on the market are studied,and the advantages and disadvantages of each device are analyzed.This paper studies the technical development and application status of retarder at home and abroad,and puts forward the specific research content and innovative ideas of this paper.2.This paper studies several models of retarder established by scholars at home and abroad,finds out their shortcomings and puts forward their own understanding and ideas of retarder model.Then,the idea of equivalent magnetic circuit corresponding to the electromagnetic field of retarder is verified,and the expression formula of braking torque is deduced by using the law of conservation of energy,and the relevant factors affecting the braking characteristics of retarder are obtained from the formula.3.The retarder is modeled by finite element analysis and Maxwell software.The process of setting material properties,boundary conditions,excitation sources,solving parameters and meshing before the model simulation is studied in detail,and the specific simulation results are obtained.4.On the basis of the established model,by changing the parameters of speed,excitation current,eddy current density,air gap spacing,material properties and other factors,the influence on the braking characteristics of the retarder is studied,and the performance optimization scheme is obtained,which is conducive to shorten the R&D production cycle and reduce the cost of the test process.The retarder is tested in the process of long-distance continuous downhill to verify that the retarder can meet the requirements of actual working conditions.
