Urban life is associated with a range of health risks.However,urban green spaces have been found to promote health recovery and reduce mental stress.To explore the influence of the spatial and environmental characteristics of urban green space on environmental restoration,this study took six Shenyang urban green spaces as the research object,and carried out investigation and experimental research.First,through the situation survey and questionnaire survey,we summarized and analyzed the restoration needs of urban residents and the restoration status of urban green space in Shenyang City.Based on this,we carried out experimental research.We measured physiological and psychological changes among 60 participants to evaluate the restorative effects of 12 green spaces in Shenyang.The Perceived Restorativeness Scale(PRS)and two physiological measures(heart rate variation and skin conductance response)were used to analyze the effects of spatial characteristics on restorative effects.In addition,eye-tracking was used to explore the individual’s visual behavior of the environment and the influence of environmental components on restorative effects.Finally,based on the conclusions of investigation and experimental research,we proposed several optimal design strategies for the restoration effect of urban green space.The survey results show that urban residents urgently need physical and mental recovery,and the utilization rate of green space is low;the current status of urban public green space restoration still needs to be improved.The results of the experimental research show that the total score of the scale data and the one-dimensional variance results of the dimension scores indicate that the scores of the perception recovery scale are significantly different between different scenes;in terms of physiological indicators,the ratio of low-frequency power value to high-frequency power value in heart rate variability(LF/HF)increased and skin conductance response(SCR)decreased,which indicated that the stress level of the subjects decreased;among them,the one-way analysis of variance between the LF/HF increase value and the SCR decrease value showed that the four spatial types LF/HF values There is a significant difference;and the physiological data is significantly positively correlated with the total score dimension of the scale data,and is extremely significantly positively correlated with the scores of the three scale dimensions of "being away",“fascination” and “extent”,and "compatibility" Dimensional scores did not show a significant correlation;in terms of eye movement indicators,first of all,the subject’s visual behavior was initially summarized through the descriptive statistics of heat maps and fixation indicators;the analysis results of the fixation indicators and PRS scores showed that the fixation time indicators showed The PRS score is significantly positively correlated with shrubs and water;it is significantly negatively correlated with buildings and paving;there is no significant correlation with the fixation duration in other landscape component elements in the area of interests;the fixation duration is correlated with the PRS hierarchical regression analysis results It shows that the three component elements of shrubs,buildings,and water bodies have a significant impact on the restorative effect of the environment.Finally,based on the above research results,combined with relevant research results for discussion and analysis,further conclusions of this paper was reported.Based on the above findings,the optimal design strategy of urban public green space restorability is proposed from two perspectives of spatial characteristics and environmental component elements,in order to provide a practical design reference for the construction of urban public green space restorative space,increase the restorative quality of urban public green space.
