Based on the development trend of driving safety and body weight reduction,whether it is from the consideration of the manufacture of automobile A,B,C pillars and automobile beams,or from the perspective of the production process of new lightweight vehicle materials.The research on the properties of materials,especially new materials,is fully in line with the development of lighter body technology.Reasonable research methods can ensure the actual production and daily use of materials.The purpose of researching the forming properties of materials is for the industrial application of materials.In order to ensure the good usability,durability and formability of automobile bodies and industrial products during production and use,it is particularly important to test the forming properties of selected materials.In the practical application of materials,materials are often affected by a variety of complex mechanical loads and other complex stress conditions.The current mechanical property testing techniques of materials,such as material unidirectional tensile tests,are mainly aimed at the material's single mechanical properties.Test analysis shows that the obtained material performance parameters cannot meet the actual complex working conditions such as multi-directional stress in the actual production process.This paper mainly studies the bending forming performance of sheet metal.Bending forming is widely used in the production of automobile four doors and two covers and automobile beams.The paper compares the mainstream research methods and can be divided into theoretical calculation analysis and finite element numerical simulation analysis,but this The two types of research methods require researchers to have a deep theoretical foundation or skilled software operation capabilities,which cannot be widely applied,and there are unavoidable errors to a certain extent.Facing the testing requirements of sheet metal bending,this paper presents a test system capable of sheet metal bending performance,which can meet the national standard U / L shape bending test of multiple sheet thicknesses and multiple bending fillet radii.The test system Not only can the performance test of common automotive sheet materials be completed,but also new material panels can be tested.In terms of system development,the paper analyzes the advantages of combined molds,and considers the forming process parameters such as sheet thickness,mold gap,and multi-bend fillet forming,and selects sensors.From forming,clamping,adjusting,and testing,In other aspects,the comprehensive design and analysis of the sheet metal forming performance test system was carried out.At the same time,the finite element analysis plug-in solidworks simulation was used to carry out a static analysis on the key positions and easy failure positions of the test device,which verified the rationality of its designAt the same time,the paper analyzes the principle of the designed sheet bending forming performance testing device,explains in detail the principle of the bending forming load measurement part,establishes a mechanical model,and uses the principle of plastic forming— Theoretical analysis of principal stress method proposed a method for real-time measurement of bending load using a probe.The load curve obtained by the test is filtered,and the test curve is finally obtained.By zeroing and calibrating the sensor,the test error can be controlled to 0.716%,which verifies the accuracy of the test device.In the physical test part,using the developed sheet bending forming performance test system,the mechanical properties of low-,medium-,and high-strength plates were analyzed.The L-shaped free-bending sheet bending load and blank holder load were obtained.Data,and the bending load value obtained from the test is compared with the calculated value of the empirical formula of the bending force.The maximum error between the measured value and the calculated value of the empirical formula is 4.9%.The accuracy of the test system is verified by corresponding physical tests.The sheet bending test system designed in this paper is designed for the development trend of lightweight vehicles,but it is not limited to the performance test of automotive sheets.The test system can obtain the bending forming load value and the minimum blank holder load value of the test sheet.Test data such as the minimum bending fillet radius,the speed of the die,the forming time,and springback can provide a scientific reference for vehicle lightweight production and research,and have a certain degree of guiding significance.
