The accelerated urbanization process has promoted the continuous expansion of the city center, increased long-distance travel for residents, and put forward new requirements for public transport modes. Therefore, urban rail transit, which is mainly based on the city line,is express and local trains have become the first choice for mid-and long-distance passengers. In the early stages of route design, most express trains and local trains were designed on the basis of optimizing passenger travel time and company operating costs, which led to more problems after construction and operation.Determine express and local train stops and transit plans from the perspective of passenger travel needs, the cost of transit line projects, and the operating costs of the business. Not only can you choose a reasonable train docking plan, but also you can meet the economic requirements of line construction, not only improve the operating efficiency of urban rail transit, but also avoid wasting resources. This paper establishes a multi-objective optimization model consisting of passenger travel time, cost of overtaking lines, and business operating costs.Based on the passenger’s choice between express and local trains, the analysis of express and local train stops and overtaking schemes under the two conditions of unlimited overtaking conditions and engineering conditions, and compared with the traditional operating cost model.First of all,the way and necessity of express trains are summarized.Study the setting form of the three-line crossover line and the four-line crossover line, and make a detailed analysis of their advantages and disadvantages as well as their applicable scope. The passenger flow characteristics of the urban rail transit express and slow train lines are summarized, and the factors that influence the combination of urban rail transit express and slow trains are determined.Determine the judging conditions for express and local trains to travel at the station and summarize the formula for the number of overtaking stations.According to the analysis of the train’s overtaking position,it can be known that the construction of the overtaking line is affected by many factors and should be selected after comprehensive consideration of various factors.Based on the differences in the nature of the passenger’s departure and departure stations, the travel routes are divided into four categories, and a total social cost model consisting of passenger travel time, overtaking line cost and corporate costs is established.Introduce the decision variables of whether the express train stops or not,and consider constraints such as line capacity and express train parking, and design an improved genetic algorithm to solve the problem. Finally, taking the urban rail transit line A in S city as a case, the route profile and passenger flow characteristics are analyzed, and the established model and algorithm are used to solve the optimal stop and overtaking plan for express and local trains to verify the rationality of the model and the feasibility of the algorithm. The result verification shows that under the condition that the overtaking conditions are unlimited, the total social cost model can save 2.11% of the total cost, about 6471 yuan / hour, and reduce the construction cost of the overtaking station project by 33%.Under the constraints of engineering conditions,decision-making variables are constrained for stations that cannot be set for overtaking stations, and compared with the unlimited train stopping and overtaking schemes, the total number of stopping and overtaking schemes set up without overtaking conditions is obtained. The cost increased by 8255 yuan,an increase of 2.64%.
