| In this experiment,the Xianlajiao chili pepper cultivar Duojiao and Xinxiang No.8 were used as materials those were widely planted in Guanzhong region of Shaanxi.The effects of extreme temperature,light intensity,setting node of pepper and other factors on the fruit traits and the rate of abnormal fruit were analyzed.4 treatments i.e.G1(greenhouse / Xinxiang No.8),G2(greenhouse / Duojiao),L1(open field / Xinxiang No.8),and L2(open field / Duojiao)were carried out.When pepper blossom,flowering date,setting node of every flower was marked,and continued recording light intensity,extreme temperatures during fruit development.When the fruits reach physiological maturity,the length,diameter,seed number per fruit,fruit fresh weight,etc.were determined.Analysis the fruit traits and cause of abnormal fruit under greenhouse and open field in Xianlajiao chili pepper.In the late test,high temperature stress was conducted when pepper blossoming.Take a sample every 5 days,research the impact of high temperature stress on pepper blossoming.The main results were as follows:1.The results showed that the maximum temperature was the main cause of abnormal fruit in greenhouse,the correlation coefficients between maximum temperature and abnormal fruit rate of G1,G2 were 0.619 and 0.581 respectively,and have reached significance at 0.05 levels.Maximum temperature was the main causes of abnormal fruit in open field,the correlation coefficients between maximum temperature and abnormal fruit rate of L1,L2 were 0.571 and 0.540 respectively,and have reached significance at 0.05 levels as well.Relationship between maximum temperature and abnormal fruit rate were close when maximum temperature in greenhouse and open field were observed.The Extreme temperatures higher,the rate of abnormal fruit will also higher.2.Light intensity has a great impact on the fruit of pepper.The correlation coefficients between light intensity and abnormal fruit rate of G1,G2 were 0.416 and 0.356 respectively,and with G1 reached significance at 0.05 levels.The correlation coefficients between light intensity and abnormal fruit rate of L1,L2 were 0.417 and 0.318 respectively.Relationship between maximum temperature and light intensity were close.Extreme temperature was generally also accompanied by a strong light.3.The disease of little leaf was very serious in the open field.The quality of fruits those infected with the disease of little leaf were significantly lower than normal pepper fruit.Theinfected pepper mainly for smaller leaves,deformity,mosaic,fruit quality was significantly lower than normal pepper fruit.In this experiment,abnormal fruit rate of all treatments showed a trend of first decline after rise along with the increase of setting node of pepper.At early stages,the fruits seemed curvier,and in the late,the length and the diameter of fruits seemed shorter.4.The activities of protective enzymes(SOD,POD,CAT,and APX)had increased in the early and middle stage.At the end,they increased slowly,and they performed in the increasing order of T2>T1> CK.But SOD activities had a decline in the last.If the temperature was higher and then the activities of protective enzymes will be higher.5.In the stage of experiment observation,the chlorophyll content behaved lowing after rising.At early stages,the pepper Pn,Ci,Gs,Tr totally lowed.T2 treatments behaved lowing serially,at the end;these indicators remained at a low level and changed slightly.And the difference was significantly among the three treatments.The reason was that this phenomenon has a close relationship with stomata closure in the early,but the latter is mainly caused by non-stomata factors.6.The research also found that abnormal fruit has less seeds,more carvers,more wrinkled.This may because of poor pollination and fertilization,due to the lack of hormone of fruit development related.Plant height,stem diameter,shoot fresh weight,shoot dry weight,root fresh weight,root dry weight of pepper have reached significant differences. |
