Coccidiosis is a protozoan parasitosis caused by the parasitic life of the Eimeria in chicken intestinal,threaten the healthy development of intensive cultivation with high infection rate,the intestinal damage,the weight loss and egg-laying decrease.Eimeria tenella is the strongest virulence among the nine common species of Eimeria.Currently,a new anti-coccidiosis medicine is of urgent need accounting the governmental strict control on veterinary antibiotics,the prevalence of anti-coccidiosis antibiotics tolerance and the uncertainty of coccidiosis vaccine.Attapulgite,a kind of one-dimensional hydrous layer-chain magnesium silicate,can be a new inoganic antimicrobial agent,with its specific surface area,making it the absorbent of toxin and some pathogenic bacteria,besides,it is full of microelements and is protective for the intestinal mucosa.Zinc can regulate enzyme activity,enhance immunity,and promote the growth of bones and alimentary canal.Chromium can strengthen immunity and anti-stress,and can also adjust the nutrition metabolism.Therefore,the combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite,made by loading the Zn2+?Cr3+to attapulgite using its absorption capacity,can not only protect the intestinal mucosa parasited by Eimeria,strengthen resistibility,but also can absorb pathogenic bacteria,metabolin and toxin avoiding secondary infection.Part one:study on the preventive effect on natural chicken coccidiosis of combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite.In the large-scale farm brooder,14-day-old chicken are grouped into four groups randomly.The experimental groups feeding on 5 g/Kg,10 g/Kg,15 g/Kg(the combining zinc&chromium attapulgite per kilogram feedingstuff)feedingstuff,while the control group feeding on blank feedingstuff,clinical symptom of each group are observed.The result shows that the secondary incidence and the period of bloody stool in experimental group is shorter than the control,so are the body weight.In conclusion,the combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite is of some effect on preventing natural chicken coccidiosis and the optimal usage is 15 g per kilogram feedingstuff.Part two:study on the curative effect on artificial chicken coccidiosis and the anti-coccidiosis mechanization of combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite.14-day-old chicken are infected with 5×104 oocyst of Eimeria tenella,the treatment group feeding on 20 g/Kg(the combining zinc&chromium attapulgite per kilogram feedingstuff)feedingstuff.The ACI are calculated synthetically through clinical symptom,the emergence and severity of bloody stool,the shedding oocyst and the body weight to evaluate the anti-coccidiosis curative effect.Meanwhile,the expression of the IL-2,IL-17,TNF-a,IFN-y,GM-CSF cytokine in cecal tonsil are measured by fluorescent quantitation PCR to investigate the anti-coccidiosis mechanization of combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite.The treatment outcome shows that,the ACI of 20 g combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite per kilogram feedingstuff is 169.4,together with the latter and less severe bloody stool,the fewer shedding oocyst and the heavier body weight which suggests some curative effect.Adjusting the cytokine expression maybe the anti-coccidiosis mechanization of combining zinc&chromium Attapulgite as it can up-regulate the expression of the IL-2,IL-17,TNF-a,IFN-?,GM-CSF cytokine,the expression of IL-2,IL-17,IFN-y,GM-CSF between the affection group and the treatment group is of extremely significant difference(p<0.01),and the expression of TNF-a between the affection group and the treatment group is of significant difference(p<0.05).
