Nowand for a fairly long time to come the risks of agricultural natural disasters are increasing in China along with global climate changes.Low temperature freezing injury(LTFI)was one of the most serious agriculture disasters in China.Dramatic changes in temperature within a short time lead to serious crop losses.Yunnan is one of provinces located in the low latitude plateau of southwest China.LTFI was one of the main causes of instable crop yield and interannual fluctuations,and leaded to huge losses.We took the families lived in Yunnan Plateau as the research object to study the families risk perception ability(RPA)and risk tolerance ability(RTA)when they suffered LTFI.In this area,Luliang county(Shuangqingkou village,Zhaokua village and Zuolibao village),Weishan county(Minqiang village,Yonghe village and Beiqiao village)and Yiliang county(Xiaocaoba village,Heping village and Dazhai village)were selected as the research zone.The families RPA and RTA were evaluated with several methods,and compared the interrelations of each other.The following results were derived:(I)According to the environment cognitive theory,we built the theoretical risk perception model,and made the evaluation index system around features of the research zones,research objects and research contents.The TOPSIS(Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution)method was used to evaluate the factors.The results of ordered factors indicated that:The Risk Attitude(A22)>The Disaster Information Extraction Ability>Place Sense Index(A21)>Risk Communication(A41)>Plant Structure Changes(A31)>Risk Expected Index(A23)>The Knowledge for Disaster(A11).According to the risk perception of the low temperature freeze,the farmers classify different types of risk perception,analyze the characteristics of different types of farmers and put forward some suggestions and countermeasures to improve RPA.(2)We analysed the differences of RPA in three situations,the different regions,the different terrain conditions and the different economic conditions.The following results were derived:? In different regions,the families in Weishan county had the highest RPA,followed by Yiliang county and Luliang county.? In different terrain conditions,the families in semi-mountainous areas had the highest RPA,followed by Mountainous Areas and Dam Areas.? In different economic conditions,RPA of Pure Agriculture Families were the highest,then followed by Semi-agriculture families and Nonagriculture families.(3)FCE(Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation)was used to evaluate the families RTA who suffered LTFI.The results showed that Psychological Stability of mostly families were in a middle level.The families who suffered LTFI were hard to bear the losses,and they were inability to take effective alleviationmeasures.They also had no enough knowledge about LTFI.We have devided the families suffered RTA into five ability.The lowest ability(8%of total families)and the highest ability(2%of total families)were both less while ability 2 had the highest proportion(48%of total families).The families belonged to the first three ability took 83%of total.Combined the results of FCE,the RTA of mostly families suffered LTFI were weak.Finally,analyze the characteristics of different types of farmers and propose planting development countermeasures.(4)We also analysed the differences of RTA in same situations:the different regions,the different terrain conditions and the different economic conditions.And the results showed that,?In different regions,the families in Luliang county had the highest RTA,followed by Yiliang county and Weishan county.?In different terrain conditions,the families in semi-mountainous areas had the highest RTA,followed by Dam Areas and Mountainous Areas.?In different economic conditions,RTA of Nonagriculture families were the highest,then followed by Semi-agriculture families and Pure Agriculture Families.(5)The results of Pearson Correlation Analysis to RPA and RTA indicated that:?RPA and RTA had moderate correlation for all research families.?In different regions,the RPA and RTA had strong corralation for the families in Yiliang county,while was moderate correlation for the families in Luliang county and Weishan county.?In different terrain features,RPA and RTA had strong relationships for families in Semi-mountainous Areas,while they had moderate correlation in Mountainous Areas and Dam Areas.?In different family economic conditions,the RPA and RTA had strong corralation for the Semi-agriculture families,while was moderate correlation for the Pure Agriculture families and Nonagriculture families.
