The Investigation Of The Common Canine Dermatosis And Establish The Standardized Process Of Diagnosis And Treatment

Canine dermatosis is one of the most common clinical diseases.With the increasing number of pet dogs,they keep more and more closely contact with people and the prevention and control of canine dermatosis has also been paid more attention.Through the statistical analysis on the outpatients of Animal Hospital Affiliated to Henan Agricultural University,to summarize the epidemiological characteristics,pathogenesis and main causes of common canine dermatosis.The clinical diagnosis of canine dermatosis by carding test,trichoscopy,wood’s test,scraping method,squash staining microscopy,fungal culture,cytology,allergen test,blood indices and hormone levels detection etc..Various types of canine dermatosis have many specific drugs and we should use reasonably.In view of the clinical common canine dermatosis,we have developed a set of standard process.It can improve the cure rate or shorten the course of treatment,reduce the pain of pet dogs and the cost of treatment.The results showed that the incidence rate of canine dermatosis accounted for 11.49%(287/2498).Simple infection plays an important role in the early stage of canine dermatosis.Fungal infection rate was the highest,accounting for 33.80%(97/287),followed by parasitic dermatosis(24.40%,70/287)and bacterial dermatosis(20.90%,60/287).In the fungal dermatosis Microsporum and Malassezia are high incidence.In the parasitic dermatosis scabies,ear mite and demodex are high incidence.Mixed infection plays an important role in the middle and later stages of canine dermatosis;Hot and humid weather in the month of 7~10 is a high incidence of canine dermatosis,accounting for 49.83%(143/287).In the 287 cases,the ratio of female to male was 1.35:1.Canine dermatosis with high incidence at the age of under one years old.Canine dermatosis are mainly caused by parasitic,fungal and bacterial diseases,such as nutritional skin diseases,endocrine skin diseases,autoimmune skin diseases,immune-mediated skin diseases and tumors are less occurs,accounting for3.14%(9/287).The survey involved 28 varieties of pet,the Poodle(24.89% of the total number of species recorded),Golden Retriever(16.59% of the total number of species recorded)and Pomeranian(accounting for 8.29% of the total species survey)are more than other breeds of dogs.The lesions were mainly distributed in the facial skin disease,accounting for 25.09% of the total number of cases,and then is the toes(21.95%),back(14.63%),ear(12.89%)and neck(9.76%).Summarize the typical cases of common canine dermatosis,and to establish a standard process for diagnosis and treatment of common canine dermatosis.Use diagnosis methods and treatment plan of the standard process to diagnosis and cure clinical 30 cases of canine dermatosis,diagnostic accuracy rate is 100%,cure rate 100%,quick and good effect.Actively popularize the knowledge of prevention and control measures of canine dermatosis standard process,strengthen the concept of nursing and prevention of canine dermatosis,and reduce the recurrence rate of skin diseases.Standard process for diagnosis and treatment of canine dermatosis can be used in pet clinic.
